I call in at this lovely place at least once a week for a bowl of fantastic soup & a piece of which ever cake takes my fancy. Must say it is fabulous. The staff are so friendly and the owner Steve too - they can't do enough for you & nothing is too much trouble. Well worth a visit.

On 9th October 2016, a group of my friends met up with my daughter and her friends at Clayton's Corner. It was my daughter's birthday and also the final part of her 'hen do' for her forthcoming marriage on the 28th October. My daughter had no idea that this was going to happen and was completely surprised to see us... More

I'd been here once before, just to have an ice cream from the outside kiosk. I had no idea there was a tea room inside. We'd gone here just for another ice cream but once inside saw that they did a rather extensive menu. The place was very busy inside, there are lots of outside tables but it was chilly... More

Popped in for dinner on a trip down south. Cosy little cafe with a good choice of food and drink. All the staff were happy and very pleasant - nothing was a problem.

Nothing is too much trouble here. If they have the makings then whatever you want is fine. Staff are friendly and smiling even when very busy. Lovely location and very popular.

My friend and I stopped in for afternoon tea. The staff were friendly and service was very prompt. We had an assortment of sandwiches, home made scone with jam and clotted cream, dried vegetable chips and 3 different cakes each, it also comes with tea or coffee. I couldn't eat all the cakes so they put the uneaten ones in... More

I have visited here many times and have never been disappointed. Food is very good, portions big, staff first class. Place has a lovely buzz about it and Steve the owner is pleasant to all and wants you to enjoy coming to his cafe. Has a great outside area and a newly introduced ice cream hut. Gets very busy at... Having passed this little cafe many times on the way to Brigg decided to drop in for lunch with the family. All pretty average on arrival but the menu is pretty comprehensive and the service quick and with a smile. I had the modern ploughman's and the kids had a great ham sandwich. Food was delicious and well presented. Lovely... More

My husband took me here yesterday. It was a friendly little café with quite a bit of choice. We had 2 diet cokes, a baguette and a panini, it came to about £15. My panini wasn't a panini as it was just a warm baguette, but it was still nice nonetheless.
