The Priory is in a convenient place to meet up with friends for lunch. It is warm and tables are arranged well. The food is ok but service is so very slow. It was nearly an hours wait after ordering. No one came to clear our plates for ages after finishing. Deserts arrived a bit quicker, but the hot drinks... More

Really lovely country pub. Food was fantastic and resonably priced too. Definitely would recommend and to book too. Hunters chicken is the best you'll ever try 😆

Loveley old English pub. Called in for Sunday lunch,a little disappointed tho, beef was ok,you do get lots of vegetables but soggy ones but the main thing for me the food was warm not hot. Its a shame because its a lovey place but the food lets its down.

Usual crowd in - Sat lunch not too busy, but seemed to take an age to get our food. Worth the wait, and probably not too long. Food was excellent

Went to the Priory on 4th November for dinner. New menu since our last visit with plenty of choice. Staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. A good wine list. Meal well cooked and presented. Had a starter, main and desert. Can't find any fault. Both of us had risotto based dishes which are notoriously hard to perfect. The fillet of... More

Went yesterday for lunch with my friends. Lovely atmosphere, the food was amazing! Had a cheese and bacon burger and brownie. One of the best burgers ever. Bacon was so thick and scrumptious. Great menu selection. Good prices Good service

We called in at the Priory on our way home from a recent visit to the area. It is near the motorway so in an ideal spot for passing trade. Its a big pub with lots of little dining areas. We found a table which suited us then ordered our meals and drinks from the bar. As well as the... More

Big group of us for a celebration lunch. They had reserved a table for us in an alcove which was really nice. Service was very slow but the staff kept us informed and were lovely. Food was very nice and beautifully served with large dishes of fresh veg etc. So much nicer than cooking and washing up for a crowd.

This charming country pub is less than 4 miles off the M5, so much better than the services! I had the asparagus risotto, and a pint of Doom Bar. It was very tasty, and the service was friendly. My daughters had pizza (properly stone baked), and pasta. They really enjoyed their meals. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I had dinner at the priory last night and I'm sorry to say it was a bit of a disappointment, I really like this pub, the staff are always friendly and the atmosphere good, and the beer is good too. My daughter had a pork burger with chips -which she said was just average, and I had... More
