Had a roast with my family today 28th ,we had the lamb and it was excellent, roast potatoes were really lovely,we will definitely be using the restaurant again, the only complaint we have is there wasn't enough of the roast potatoes.

Ate here three years ago and had a good meal so we weren't disappointed to enjoy another lovely meal today. Good choice of food delivered in good time and very good quality.

She misheard one of our drinks orders, screwed up her face and just said 'wot' . Went to order food at the bar and sadly the same woman approached... More

Myself and my wife recently visited the fishermans joy in selsey and was sorely dissapointed. How this place managed to get a score of 5/5 is beyond me. Some of the tables in the bar were covered in what looked like paint and the floor was sticky in places. The two girls who were working the bar were so curt it... More

We were not impressed at the lack of local fish light dishes eg crab sandwich and left without eating. Ended up with a sandwich from the co-op! Maybe weekdays are better? Looked like it was under new ownership ! We left disappointed although the roast portions were huge and the veg looked great it was not what we wanted at... More

Visited the Fishermans Joy for a meal for the 1st time this evening. Moved to Selsey late October & have only just got round to visiting the Fishermans Joy. Really pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. We found that the menu had a nice selection and the prices were very reasonable, especially the special menu where you got... More

Ate at this pub on the evening of Thursday 25 February 2016. We liked the sound of the fish menu so gave it a go. Whilst the 2 starters of Blanchebait were nice and quite acceptable portions, my partner's "Baked Cod with a salsa sauce" left a lot to be desired. A miniscule piece of fish, about 6 halves of... Myself and my family arrived needing a table for 13 on a Sunday. We all sat down to order and when the waiter came to take our order he was asked if there was scampi in an adult portion as it was on the children's menu. His reply was 'If you can't see it we ain't serving it'. We all... More
