Great little tea rooms that get as a 5 star review from our bellies, our taste buds and our dog. The rhubarb scones are just huge and perfect. The tea is well blended. The staff are friendly. We would highly recommend a visit here.

This is a tiny tea rooms just off the main road in Steyning. They offer a variety of food: hot and cold, sweet or savoury. The staff are friendly, dogs are welcome and the place is very clean. It is so popular (any little) that people often book a table to be sure of being able to eat there. I... More

I stopped off with a friend for a cuppa and was really pleasently surprised but the 'Olde World' feel of the Tea rooms. The nice thing about this place is you are not rushed to get out of your seat the minute you finish your drinks.

This tea shop is always popular and busy they offer a wide range of cakes and the staff are friendly. In sunny weather there are a few tables outside.

My partner and I decided to walk the South Downs Way – a good excuse to indulge in lots of cream/afternoon teas. Without exception (including The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne) the Steyning Tea Rooms provided the best one of all. Homemade rhubarb scones with homemade rhubarb jam. The lady who served us (not sure if she was the owner) said the... More

This is a really beautiful tea shop, and today was our second visit, taking some friends for a wedding anniversary treat. It does get very busy, and I was delighted to see that they do reserve tables, although NOT for lunch. No problem for us, though, as we were after their amazing afternoon tea! Their rhubarb scones really are amazing... More

Nice place that I recommend for traditional afternoon cream teas and more. I had freshly warm baked rhubarb scones, clotted cream & jam and a pot of loose Assam tea. My friend had a welsh rarebit which was very tasty. Service a tad slow but they were busy and the scones were freshly baked. Nice place & friendly people !

Yesterday I chanced upon this tea room in Steyning. I ordered the rhubarb scone with clotted cream, rhubarb jam and a cup of coffee. The scone was a little crumbly but gorgeous, in fact I loved it so much that I invited a friend to join me and we went there again today. We both really enjoyed the afternoon tea,and... More
