We were three and we -for sure - did not pay much : 30 € for 3 dishes. 2 out of 3 of the dishes were very disappointing. The smoked lamb Durmitor mode had really a bad taste. No meat, mainly bones that tasted like...an old lamb. The earthenware cooked lamb was much better.More

Something about this restaurant was really wrong. We came there because of the good reviews, but since it wasn't during the peak season (July), we were the only customers. The food wasn't good and not cheap at all (like in other restaurants nearby) and the...service wasn't friendly. But the worst part, is that I tried their "local dish" - corn porridge with cheese and it wasn't tasty at all, the texture was weird and I had a stomachache all night. I would never come back.More

We stopped in to take a break during skiing and wanted to have something for quick lunch. Firstly, it was pretty cold inside, so it wasn't pleasant to sit. We have ordered cheese pie which was warmed in microwave and not fresh. Try to order...two more meals, but one was not available and other would be ready in 45 mins and didn't want to waste time there, especially when it was not warm inside. Then just ordered some pancakes, and they were ok. But nothing more. Will not return, not worth it.More

We went to this place, considering all the fantastic trip advisor reviews. Do not trust. We wanted to eat typical durmitor meals, which basically is Lamb. Afraid of all the tourists present in the area,(our guesthouse was packed and also others we search on the...internet)we went there in the afternoon to book a table for the night. They said there were no problems so we came back in the evening and the restourant was completely empty. Once we sit, the only waiter Who speaks english informed us that there was no Lamb. the entire page of the menu which included traditional dishes was off, exception made for one MEAL which he suggested. This last One was no bad, but being in two we decide to take another One to share (from the very resteicted menù). This plate was terribile It tasted like old ....we were so disappointed because we tought that in the afternoon he should have said that there was nothing left in the menu. ..furthermore the Place is not Easy to find especially in the night and the price are a bit higher compared to others in the areaMore

After the waiter spilt a drink on us and the table, he never apologized and we had to ask him to clean it up. Though we thought it was strange, we took it as a slight faux pas and laughed about it. The food, however,...was one of the most terrible things we ever smelled: one of the dishes we ordered (pasulj sa jagnetinom; beans with lamb) smelled literally like rotten meat. When we explained ourselves, the waiter just took the dish away but didn't apologize; instead, he tried to mock our complaint down. Other two dishes (šopska salata and sarma) were okay (quite average, but edible), though 3 pieces of sarma (cabbage leave filled with rice and minced meat) w/o any side dish or bread for 7,90 EUR seemed a bit farfetched. As we were not getting served after we finished the two dishes that were alright, we had to go inside the hutt to pay. Noone ever apologized or said goodbye to the rest of the crew showing quite a not-interested attitude. All and all, don't eat here unless french fries perhaps, it's really not worth it.More

We got here because of the wonderful reviews and were craving for a good piece of meat. Unfortunately only 2 dishes on the menu were available (in high season!). We both ordered the hamburger. And that we got. Just a burger, with some potatoes, but...without any bun or vegitables (there was a unsolicited hair though). When asking for ketchup the waiter claimed that it was a ‘national restaurant’, so no ketchup or mayonaise. But when I asked for ANY other sauce he said no as well. Burger was tasty, but the overall experience was terrible! This doesn’t come close to the 4+ stars it got on Tripadvisor.More

It was cold and the roaring fire drew us in although there were no other diners. The server was dour but not rude and most items on the menu were unavailable. We chose kebabs for 1 a bottle of fizzy water and grilled vegetables. Bill...came to 30 euros. When questioned the grilled veg was 9 euros! It was no different in size of taste to any other we have had locally for 3 euros. The food was fine but not special. There are better places to go locally. Probably nice for a drink outside on a warmer day.More

We were a group of six and one baby, everyone found something they loved. Great service and variety, including vegetarian options.

The view and location are just outstanding, and I recommend that you visit this restaurant only because of the view. Service was very very slow, traditional food was ok, like buckwheat pancakes and salad, but the soup was horrible like they cooked the one from...the supermarket. The rest was also something like ok, but we would not go back to eat, just to drink something and enjoy the view.More

Our host recommended this spot when we were looking for a place to have dinner. Cozy little place, it wasn't crowded that evening. The food was exceptional. We had lamb and trout. They were out of some items from the menu [ex. soup]. Also they...tend to serve locally sourced meat [no pork or chicken on the menu; mainly lamb and beef, one kind of fish - trout]. Quiet OK options for drinks, too. We had an awesome waiter, with very good English skills. A little bit overpriced - which is somewhat understandable, since there are no other alternatives nearby.More

We visited Koliba in the evening after the local people recommended to us. The waiter was very nice and pleasant. Service was very professional. The soup, main course and dessert were awesome. Moreover, the restaurant is in a beautiful environment. We plan to come back...someday. The price was very good this experience.More

Out by the ski area but can be reached by a nice walk over from the black lake. Great service from the multi-lingual manager/waiter/barman with off the menu recommendations. Goat in clay pot was a highlight on one visit. If you want a surprise for...dessert ,order the 'Royal Crumbs' , don'y ask what it is ,just order!More

First of all - they didn't have 70% meals from the Menu. My friend asked for Veal "ispod saca" - traditional way of preparing food in Montenegro - and got a simple boiled veal! It was not bad, but it was not what it supposed...to be either - when told this to a waiter, his answer was - "I really do not enter the kitchen" Three of us had veal soup - you can hardly spot the meat. They do not have pork ham at all - big minus, since it is like Montenegro's trademark. Potatoes were fine. Prices too high for what you get.More

Small, but pleasant atmosphere. Really calm village. Good cuisine, nice goat cheese, ham, local spirits (as compliment)). Waiter is good and attentive - when we looked the pack of milk for our child after late arrival ( near 10 p.m) - restoran waiter gave it...without any fee!!! Recommend for all, who like calm green tourism! P.s. near Koliba there is nice guest house Tiha noc, owner -Nicola! Good guy!More
