It was ok. We have taken 1 portion and eat is together and it was ok. Very tasty. We have paid 12 EUR for meals (starter, main dish and dessert) and 1.80 EUR for 0.5L beer.
I couldn't eat whole alone!:) to much food ;)
Beatiful place near the city center where you can find different traditional meal that are made with lots of love and finesse. The staff ia very friendly and attentive and the food is very delicious! We'll be back for sure!
I visited this restaurant with my friends at the end of September so it was quite empty. Almost all of us ordered different dishes but we were all very happy with our choices. I paid 12 euro for the biggest menu with cold apetizers (local...cheeses, prosciutto and polenta), delicious main course (some kind of traditional local steak), salad and desert. They also serve very good red wine. The waiter was really, really kind and helpful and his behaviour matched a much more fancy restaurant. :) I totally recommend this place!More
So I do not think this restaurant is that bad, just the food I ordered was something I disliked. Together with my girlfriend we ordered kacamak and veggie menu. Kacamak which was stated to be national montenegrin dish turned out to be prepared the way...it was in the past, basic corn starch mix with some egg and cream. It was bland and not really eatable on its own. It costed 4.5€. Veggie menu was the following:
1 a bowl with few days old tomato cut into quarters, with few cucumber slices and minced cabbage (pretty laughable :()
2 a veggie soup with groats (that one was awesome 5 stars)
3 "a spaghetti with cheese" - overboiled pasta with A LOT of white creamy sauce (almost like a soup) and dehydrated cheese (that one i like). The amount of creamy sauce made the dish very bland and difficult to eat (even though it was not that bad)
4 a small dessert the size of a snack bar, a chocolate wafer
cost of veggie menu 6.5 euro
veggie menu portion was big but laughable apetizer and very bland (no chewing made it feel like something they serve at nursing homes) main dish madr the overall experience pretty bad
we left a lot of the food at the table and the waiters seemed to be angry at us for thatMore
A no frills restaurant serving home styled meals. Tend to be large servings, especially the meat for a small price. So if you're not a big meat eater do ask for smaller portions - everything is shown in grams in the menu.the vegetable soup is...delicious.More
Food was ok (out of 4 dishes, one was very good, 2 ok, one not good).
But the waiting time is extremly long, even for Montenegro standards.
Do not go there if in a rush, the waiter compltly forgets about you..
Surely not the best...option in townMore
