Secret place with friendly staff and low price. 5 minutes walking from the harbour. I recommend a reservation.

Place and the view is perfect, food average and the service also very average. In this place you will not eat specific local food.
Location is great ❤️, food is avarage: portions are small and food could be better. Nothing special. It is a bit overpriced and they don’t accept cards (cash only).
I had a tomato soup and an octopus Peka. The soup tasted like water and the peka was the worst peka I ever had. The octopus was burned and chewy and the sauce was just oily and bitter from the burnt garlic. When we told...the waiter that the food was bad we didn’t have to pay the octopus, which was nice.More
Small restaurant next to the sea, pretty view. We had black risotto and pesto genovese gnocchi. Black risotto was not so good, it was a bit dry and sour. Pesto genovese gnocchi was very good, gnocchi were homemade and delicious. Serving was nice. Waitress was...not so heplful and friendly.More
Very nice place, just in front of the sea. We tried typical meat & fish dishes, octopus salad was excellent ! Good white wine of the house, staff very kind. Be aware that the most famous meat course need to be booked two hours in...advance. I suggest to stop here for a dinner!More
The restaurant has great view and ambient. The food is excellent, especially the cold appetizers. The sea food is prepared with love and it has a touch of that genuine local croatian adriatic food. A great place to eat!
We were here with two other families. We ordered the peka ahead of time for some of us and had some other dishes, so we tasted a lot of things. We enjoyed our dishes a lot! While both were good, our table enjoyed the lamb...peka more then the octopus. The truffle tagliatelle had us scraping our plates with bread to eat the last of the delicious sauce. Gnocchi was also nicely done. The pumpkin oil- cucumber salad was refreshing. A good value for large portions. We had a wonderful time and would recommend! Remember that it is cash-only.More
Beautiful pictoresque Island that we visited during our boat cruise. We decided to eat dinner at Konobar Stara Makina. Ordered the lamb under the bell (traditionally known as Peka) 2 hours before dinner so it can be prepared in time. It was fantastic! Delicious, tasty...and sooooo soft, melting in our mouths. Very nice settling by the sea with traditional interior. Staff more than friendly and professional. Prices very acceptable. Highly recommend,More
We were very fortunate to chance upon Stara Makina during our visit to Prvic Luka. We ate their on a number of occasions, and I would heartily recommend it to any visitors on the island. I ate the Octopus, and Seabass. Both meals were very...satisfying. The Greek Salad was lovely too. Both my wife and I appreciated the fine cheese mesh that the salad came in. Both ornate, and delicious. We sampled a number of the restaurants on the island and this was the best.More
My wife and I were staying in Prvic Luka for a number of nights, and we visited Stara Makina on three occasions for dinner. In our experience, both the service and food were excellent. Particularly enjoyable was the Greek salad, grilled octopus and sea bass....The portions were more than satisfactory and the food was very well prepared. After a long day of swimming, these meals were the perfect tonic. I would wholly recommend this restaurantMore
A delicious meal for 6, slow cooked Lamb under one Bell and Octapus under another the traditional Croatian way. Followed by music and dancing with the host singing our old wedding song. Right on the waters edge. Lots of local beer, and home made wine....The perfect evening. Definitely going back.More
I was looking forward to visit Prvic Luka Island, because I was there already and I liked this place. Because it's the island, it's easy to decision for one restaurant. I was surprised by the hospitality, because we had to wait for the waiter for...a few minutes. It's not about the time, but the interest. However, there was a great place to sit and eat, because there is a quiet surroundings near the sea, and it is a big plus. Food good, but a problem with a payment by credit card ..More
one of the best places for Peka but you need to order in advance Later in the season (early-mid sept) they open later so you best call them to get a Peka order in , but you wont be disappointed
Dined here last week. Booked ahead so we could have the Peka dishes. Very tasty, both the octopus and lamb. Good house wine too. Recommended.
