As before, the quality of the food and the different tastes proposed is very good. Definitely hay soup is something to try. Also the bbq with the polenta and grilled cheese. Be there around noon without reservation or there could be a long line. for the Italians: Meriterebbe 5 palle ma NON FANNO LO SCONTRINO.

After a full morning skiing, it was comforting to stop in this charming chalet on the mountain and sample some heartful regional dishes such as the hay (yes, hay) soup served in a bread loaf and the knoedl/canederli with bacon and onions. To end the kaiserschmarrn a chopped pancake that forces you to ski for few more hours. Nice grill... More

This place is simply really good. You will enjoy your lunch with local specialties and home made products! Try the "suppe served in the bread" with flowers! Grilled cheese ou saussages on the bbq are excellent! Located on the slope, perfect to enjoy a good lunch!

I could watch them making the food in the kitchen and it was quite a show! They are utterly effective and make some very creative looking dishes. The food was good, but an inside table is hard to get.

Every whithe week I look forward to return here. . The food, service and atmosphere are perfect because it is on the ways of ski. The B&Q is the best! Also the “Polenta” is very good.

Average for comparable places in this area which translates in very good. Splendid location with a fantastic view of the Dolomites and the Siusi plateau, reportedly the highest in Europe. Food simple local, plenty with own ingredients like milk, eggs, cheese. Local specialists, excellent desserts. Low cost. Stop even for a short break, you will not be disappointed.

We visited this place three times while vacationing in Ortisei. It's so special and unique. Food is excellent both in quality and presentation! We loved the Zuppa di Fieno and Kaisermarren ( an egg based dish with red cranberries sause- super yum)!!!

Sitting outside in the sun with a coffee and the magnificent pancake (Kaiserschmarren) was a magic moment. The food was great and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. This is well worth stopping and enjoying the surrounding view and the food
