Great location, ancestrale building. Friendly staff and good variety of beers to choose from. A lot a variety on the menu, from poutines to steak, tartare and fish.

They also have a terrasse in the back, very enjoyable in summer. No reservations possible in summer which is regrettable. Can get very loud.

This microbrasserie has little competition in the area, but that doesn't stop them from offering lots of choices of beer (and cocktails, too).
An appealing bar area + lots of outdoor seating, it's no wonder that there is often a line-up of customers waiting their turn to be seated.
Above all else and what has prompted me to write this five-star review, is the friendliness of the wait staff!

I can’t believe how bad this place has become last year i gave a 5 stars review now it would be more minus 3 stars the salmon had a ton of oil and the potatoes/rabiolle were hard as rock the attitude of the waiter when i told him you could tell he did not give a... at all do yourself a favor and don’t eat there the beers was still ok at least but 85 dollars wish i don’t mind when it was good but this time for lentils no thanks ever again...... so upset itwas so good before now its a sh... hole

Food is mediocre, but the poutine was really good (and it was my first time trying it). We had to deal with a LOT of flies while dining outdoors, the service was slow but friendly. Great dining atmosphere with the exception of the flies.

After spending time visiting family in the hospital we wanted some food that wasn't from a chain. We didn't expect much and were blown away by the quality of the food and the great service.

Located in gorgeous old St-Eustache in a beautiful historic home, Noire et Blanche never disappoints. I make sure to go every time I travel to Québec.
Laidback and yet classy decor, the brasserie is the perfect place to catch up with friends for a lovely evening. During summer, the terrace overlooking the river is just amazing.
The service is great, the staff friendly and the food and beer are absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend Noire et Blanche enough. Poutine General Tao and litchi beer are my favourites.

The food is excellent. Staff friendly. The dining area is a bit small but once you are there favouring the atmosphere and delectable tastes, you don't notice anything but. Really enjoyed my meal.

Went for a birthday party and received a restricted menu. I understood their reasoning but I will never go back. Not one of my choices was on that menu. So I sat and watched people eat. So many others in my group were equally disappointed with the limited menu. Don’t think any of them will be back either. So disappointed because I really wanted to like this local place

Absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. Very knowledgeable wait staff. Very fair pricing. Outstanding food,my burger was one of the best I’ve ever eaten home cut fries nice little salad all for 16$. I will recommend and I will return.

It's the best place in town: food is really good, their micro-brewed beer is amazing, the back yard terrace is nice and green, with a breeze from the river. Pure bliss.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. A neat thing is you can order 5oz glasses of beer allowing you to sample different kinds. We started with the nachos, which came with a homemade salsa...yum yum Next we had a couple burgers: 1 vegetarian made with black beans, quinoa & a tangy chipotle mayo, served on a fresh "sweet bun", I selected a garden salad instead of fries. I enjoyed it very much. My friend had the cheeseburger, it was a good size and also served on a nice fresh "bakery" bun.
Service was a little slow, it would also be a good idea to add padding to the wood benches on the terrace, they aren't very comfortable.
There is a small gift shop where you can pick up TShirts or some beer to take home.
Will definitely return.

You know when you go somewhere and everything is good but not great? That's the best way to describe Noire et Blanche.
I don't feel the need to go back which is the true test of any restaurant.

We were hunting for just such a setting to celebrate a milestone. We arrived early(around 4:00 p.m.on a Friday) and were ushered to a table for two beside the herb/flower garden overlooking a little stream where ducks and ducklings could be seen paddling along. The service was impeccable and attentive without being over-bearing. The beer list was extensive and the wine list provided enough selection to give perfect accompaniments to the dinner choices. The gourmet Monastère d'Oka burger (handmade with Angus beef!) and the fish and chips (the chips were replaced with an amazing Caesar salad with homemade croutons and real bacon pieces!) were served with a smile and presented beautifully. At no point in the proceedings did we feel rushed. The table was ours for as long as we wished. The location and ensuing evening, filled with delicious food and well-crafted drink, proved to be a very relaxing end to a day of celebration. We will definitely return to this little gem in the old part of St-Eustache! One note to consider : This is a very popular location for locals so the microbrasserie does have the potential to have long wait-lines as the evening progresses. The wait-time is worth the wait-line!

Great selection of beers! Food was amazing with large portions. Management extremely friendly! I would definitely recommend for happy hour or just wanting to relax after a long day!
