Sumptuous Food

The decor is simple, the staff is good, the service is quick. You can spend hours sitting here and doing nothing. The food, well, it's just amazing, perfectly cooked, served hot on the table and nicely garnished. For the sweet tooth, you got loads of fresh stuff waiting to be gobbled down. Bon Apetite.

Vegetarian Italian - something different for us

Although we love our meat, we enjoyed our vegetarian meal at Nick's Italian Kitchen. My husband said his pizza was delicious and my Lasagne was not bad although it was a bit more like a stew and lacked the flavour I was expecting. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was homely and cosy. The cost was quite reasonable for what we ordered.

the best ever cakes!

this place is a must on any visit to Dharamsala, a hub where many meet. Great menu, try the quiche with spinach and taste all the delicious cakes, in my mind very American inspired. the outdoor terrace is especially lovely with a grand view of the Himalayas.

Does not live upto the hype.

Disappointing food and service, great atmosphere. Had to wait 30 mins for the food and the restaurant was not even full and then to get cold and tasteless food just made it worse. Even the dessert was disappointing and you can’t really go wrong with sugar. ( we had the tiramisu, pesto pasta, and momos)

We ordered farmhouse pizza , ravioli , apple pie with ice cream, all the dishes were good except for pizza , it was bland and taste was not great which we expected out of the cafe as we read a lot about the cafe. Taste of ravioli was good a d apple pie were nice. They should really do something with there pizza preparation...

Best Italian Joint

Certainly one of the best places to have Italian food in Mcleodganj. Located on the busy Bhagsunag Road, this joint is ideal to have some hot, scrumptious food and desserts. There are two levels and you may take your food Al Fresco to enjoy your meal with a beautiful view of the mountains. The eatery is clean, hygienic, and has a homey feeling to it. There are some books available too if you wish to read while eating. If you are a solo traveler, then Nick’s kitchen is perfect to have food in solace and solitude.

Great taste

The place is great not just for the food, which is outstanding. There are a couple of other reasons why the place should feature in every visitor's must do list. It has probably the best dining space, on two levels. One inside and the other one on the terrace with an amazing garden tended lovingly by the hostess, who is always ready to chat with you. The terrace has outstanding views of the mountains and the service is impeccable. The food is vegetarian with some egg dishes and some amazing coffee and cake. Go around tea time, settle down for a relaxed cuppa and end with dinner. It will be one of your most memorable evenings.

A great spot for food, people watching and mountain views.

Nick's became my go to place for its diverse menu, great food and people watching opportunities. Throw in superb views from the sunny deck and friendly staff for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It serves great breakfasts, traditional Tibetan food, and a selection of European dishes and sweets, together with fresh juices and excellent coffee. I could have eaten the coconut and jaggery cake every day and always left with a bag of delicious biscuits. I also loved the unobtrusive way that the staff would slip small change to the local beggars.

Great Food, Service and View

We ate here several times while staying in the area, in the day you can soak up some sunshine while looking out onto the snow capped mountains. At night you can be cosy inside. Menu has plenty of options, deserts are great as is the service

Touristy Lanes of McLeodganj

The best place in McLeodganj to get a feel of the true essence of the vibe that holds the place together. Very Italian yet they stick to the essential monastery culture. Calm. Peaceful. Segmented. Zonal. You can find your place and sink in. They have both open and closed spaces. You can sneak peak into the local culture from the roof covered terrace. Food is amazing. I would recommend you try their core competencies. I tried tea which was not that great. However, they have amazing food and beverages to offer. USP: You can be yourself and watch lovely people enjoying their food and conversation. You will find readers, writers, families, solo travellers and all who associate with the vibe and culture of McLeodganj.

Best place for breakfast at Mcleodganj

Best place for breakfast. They make amazing vegetarian Italian Food and other American/Continental items. Would recommend their pancakes, waffles and definitely thier pasta. The people who run this place are very nice, humble, sweet people. Do ask for a table at thier terrace. Better views.

Delicious cakes

We came here on 3 seperate ocassions during our 5 day stay in Mcleod Ganj and each time we had incredibly good food. This place has a very nice atmosphere, the staff are very nice and helpful and the food is delicious. The cakes were excellent, especially the coconut macaroons.

Awesomest.

I start to think how much ever I say about this cafe it's going to be less. Awesomest place in the whole of dharamshala. Loved it to the core. Every bit of the taste gets you the taste to harmony. Satisfies you like no other. Ordered like nearly everything as we visited 5 days on the Trott. Great place. Super location. Amazing tasty food. Damn good for a foodie. Keep rocking. Cheers.

Nice place for a leisurely lunch

Good clean restaurant with a terrace with a fabulous view. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the food ordering. Service was reasonably quick. Food quality was also good.

Nice place to visit

Just went in for breakfast & dessert. Good view, polite staff and a lot of foreigners. Had spinach cheese omelet and banoffe pie which were very good. Do try it out while in Mcleodganj.
