Definitely worth the 10min walk from ‘downtown’ Santa Catalina.
Kind of hidden away - take a right before Sherleys, if you walk by Hotel Santa Catalina you’ve gone too far.
Great atmosphere, chilled surfy vibe, friendly staff.
Have a jug of sangria with lovely tropical...fruits! Yum!More
We had a salad, two burgers and some drinks here, and had a really good time. Food’s good (great range of burgers to choose from, and the steaks looked really good as well) and not expensive at all. Staff is very friendly, and the music...adds to the great atmosphere.More
The Los Pibes restaurant is specialized on Argentinean food (focus on different kind of steaks, burgers, and many more). Besides the main steak dishs you can order two sides (e.g. fried yuca and fries, vegetables, salad). The steaks were perfectly grilled as ordered. Additional sides...can be ordered separately for only USD 1,50 each. On top of this three different sauces are served. The service was great and the owners were very friendly.
In case you stay at Santa Catalina this restaurant is a must place to go for dinner!More
This is a family affaire owned by an Argentine guy. His Empanadas are fabulous specially the Caprese. All the meet and fish is grilled outside on BBQ which gives them a wonderful taste. We went to this restaurant twice and the meet was just a...blast both times, ask for extra Chimichurri if you are not scared of garlic ;). However, as he is almost alone, service could require a bit a patience but just relax and enjoy some cocktails you are on holidays...More
Great food! We had empanadas, steak and burger the first night - parrillada ( sausage, chicken, pork chop and tenderloin- French fries pepper sauce and chimichurri sauce) the second. Both nights had the sangria.
Really good food and reasonable prices. We loved it!
Just down the road from hotel Santa Catalina. All food cooked on the grill from scratch.
We opted for the catch of the day being red snapper served with a very good chimchurri sauce. Extra sauce also given which we were grateful for. We opted...for grilled veg and potatoes as a side which were really tasty and it was nice to have some fresh veg other than salad. (red onion, red pepper, courgette, tomato and basil - yum)
Dessert offered was crepes... which were super thin and very nice.
Relaxing music, friendly service, the smell of the grill, a relaxed atmosphere and good food.
All food with 2 wine, 2 beers and 1 margarita $45 including tax and before tip. An enjoyable evening.More
