Very nice interior and atmosphere. Food was also very good but if you are a vegetarian you might experience difficulties in finding your main dish. Extraordinarily selection of drinks and lemonade - unexpected mixture of flavours and ingredients - worth trying!

I recently had lunch at Airfield Restaurant and had a very good experience. The food quality is very good, and the presentation very impressive. The restaurant uses various creative cooking techniques including low-temperature and vacuum cooking, and the food both tasted and looked delicious. My...steak tartare was one of the best I have tasted recently, and included an amazing 62-degree egg yolk. I read the other reviews and find many of them unfair: there is noise dampening in the main restaurant room and the noise level was absolutely acceptable although the restaurant was full. The food is more expensive than other restaurants in the area but in my view totally justified as it is much more elaborate than what is served at neighboring bistro-style places. Actually I found it very good value. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.More

Nothing special in the sea of restaurants in Luxembourg. Way overpriced for what you get and menu is still very short, no options for vegetarians. Service was nice and attentive but again, just the average.

We both had a small cocktail, the main dish of the week and a small glass of wine. Altough the presentation was good and the food was tasty it was just too expensive for the quality we got.

I happened to be passing in a car outside after a meeting by the airport and the terrace looked inviting. Before deciding to sit down I sed the toilet and was most impressed by decor of the main room I walked through so decided to...eat there rather than on the terrace. The service was extremely attentive without being pushy. Having recently returned from two weeks in Greece my interest was piqued by a diner on the terrace who had octopus. I decided to try it and can only say it was every bit as good as any of the octopus meals I ate in Greece. In addition there were some dried cherry tomatoes accompanying that were to die for. I didn't leave a morcel and asked whether the tomatoes were down in-house. The chef came to my table and explained how he made them. His attention to detail was impressive and some of the flavours were explained by his Chilean/Peruvian parentage. I hope I have the opportunity to return here and try further dishes. The chef is superb! I can't comment on noise in the large room as all other diners were on the terrace. If it is really an issue, a bit of accoustic work would sort easily sort it.More

I ordered a tartare de boeuf which is by far the most expensive and worst one ever. The meat was not fresh and also the service is horrible. I would personally not recommend the place.

I have been here a few times and every time the food is excellent. the back room is better for noise reduction and there you can also see the cooks working. overall a nice place with normal luxemburgish prices.

We were sitting in the large room on the side right from the entry. It completely lacks noise dampening. The room was only half full but even though you could hardly understand your vis-a-vis. We had excellent cocktails, a main dish a dessert to share...and a bottle of wine. The bill amounted to 143 euros (cf. photo) and felt wrong. Given the price tag, the quality of the food is just acceptable. An insult to any wine amateur is the wine pricing and the ethics of the sommelier. I ordered a "Petit Clos Maia" at 45 euros. After inquiry, the waitress testified to its value for money. Unfortunately, the wine I got (cf. picture) was at the wrong temperature, in the wrong glass and flattened out after 10 minutes. It tasted like a lousy 5 euro supermarket wine. I complained about the quality and the offensive mark up and asked for the sommelier. He didn't even bother showing up and let the waiter explain that this is current practise in Luxembourg. It got worse: my bill listed "Clos Maia" the first wine and not "Petit Clos Maia" the second wine I was served. Moreover my bill was labeled "provisoire" provisional. Put all this together and draw your conclusions.More

If you are looking for a place to eat during your one hour lunch break and don‘t fancy shouting at each other or wearing earplugs, avoid this place. We had to wait an hour for our order, even though the menu is probably one of...the shortest I have seen in any restaurant in Luxembourg. In addition, this must be the noisiest restaurant I have ever visited. Food and drinks are of high quality, even though slightly pricey. In the end, I was happy to leave, which is a shame, given the tasty scallops Ceviche.More
