1 MICHELIN Star: High quality cooking, worth a stop!
Daniel Antuna pampers his guests from the warm welcome to the final goodbye as they leave with a satisfied smile on their lips. An open kitchen ensures that you won’t miss any crumbs of the culinary show in this restaurant, where you will feel both at home and as if you are a VIP guest. Chef Antuna deploys state-of-the-art culinary techniques without betraying his classical training. His unique sense of flavour is superlatively enriched by Asian influences. For example, you might sample a perfectly cooked fillet of halibut with caramelised Belgian endive and an endive cream of Grimbergen beer, beer-flavoured smoked eel stock and a subtle jelly of sweet leeks. Culinary heaven! He manages to add a whole new dimension to familiar flavours. The chef adores cooking veggies, as his mouth-watering vegetarian menu demonstrates. Innovation at the service of the ingredients’ intrinsic flavour is the house motto.

A very nice discovery outside Brussels. A fine meal at a more than affordable price. We took the 4 service and it was perfect from start to finish. Cozy atmosphere despite two large tables. 4 beautiful mouthfuls, then two starters with the cooking of the fish superbly mastered. The pigeon of Anjou and cooked perfectly. And dessert was a treat to finish this beautiful meal. A very nice selection of wines by the glass. We'll be back.

This michelin star restaurant is fantastic. Don't leave the area without eating here. Obviously this is higher priced, but quality and style are fantastic. Count 110 euro for a dinner and 50 for a lunch. Thank you Daniel.

We got the last table for lunch in the kitchen where chef Altuna with just a few aides prepared a nice menu served in a very professional and friendly way by his wife.
We went for the 5 rather than 4 dishes menu with 2 times excellent fish, a very taste grouse and a varied cheese platter (in stead of the dessert), but the extra dish (lobster) was the one that convinced the least.
Good matching wines, served generously.
Impressive choice of beers!

we go there every other month or so. The menu changes every month. We have always been extremely impressed with the quality of the food. The chef always comes out to explain the dishes, a very nice personal touch. This is a place for foodies, not a family place. the associated wines are always a great hit. Excellent value for money.

I had a business lunch here dinner, be forewarned food can be quite slow. Staff is friendly but not very attentive. Some dishes quite good (bluefin tartar), other dishes mediocre and bland (white fish dish from the menu). Dessert was amazing.

Went for dinner with 3 couples. While the menu indicates you are supposed to take the fixed menu as of 5 people, they were very flexible and we were allowed to eat a la carte. Good food but nothing special. Service is friendly but slow. And when we asked for a wine choice, the waitress showed us 1 bottle and recommended that one.,We took it, it was a pleasant evening out and we did not want to bother much.. We would have preferred to look at a wine list and have a choice of wine, but we went with the bottle that was suggested.

We waited for the meal to be served for over an hour. That given we walked in with a 1 year old and clearly indicated that we'd like to be done quickly as he would not last too long. Only ordered one course. They never warnedvus it would take that long. My son was gradually " turning into a pumpkin" as it was way past his bed time. We asked if they can hurry up but it was not getting any faster. The good was very tasty but I had to eat in a hurry given the situation. They did not have a high chair either.

More and more top restaurants offer vegetarian courses on their menu card, but 't Stoveke is exceptional in offering a complete vegetarian menu option in its own right. This signals that vegetarian courses are not just optional at 't Stoveke, but a full vegetarian meal combination of 4-5 curses in its own right. I was very impressed by the creativity, the flavours and variety of our meal. On top of it, the restaurant is small, with tables well spaced apart and the service very friendly. This was without a doubt my best vegetarian restaurant meal in Belgium ever. I will go back

Always a pleasure to eat in this nice michelin starred restaurant. Great service by Petra and Daniel the Chef is the best. Kalfszwezerikken are the most delicious ones I ever eat ! Ca vaut le grand détour!

Michelin starred restaurant closest to home ! So easily reachable, also very easy parking. Very nice setting, we sat in the main room, happy we didn't book one of the tables in the kitchen as the lights are quite harsh there. Service very good, though the description of the dishes seemed a bit rehearsed. We took the tasting menu and were surprised as it turned out to be quite filling, which isn't the case in other similar restaurants. All dishes were very good, but seemed a little bit less refined compared to other starred places. Price was OK, 220 € for two with glass of champagne and (very good) bottle of wine (Chateau-neuf). If we ever return, it will be in the summer time as the patio is very inviting ...

You can look at the website, you can read articles on TripAdvisor en co.You can see that institutions give out a star or give a high score but you can not experience it if you don't take some time . And taking your time is worth it when you step into 't stoveke.
The restaurant is not that large (24 settings if I counted correctly) but it's very stylish. There's also a terrace but in the middle of november it's closed of course.
We had a table for six in the kitchen itself and that's a nice touch. Surprisingly all evening the 3 chefs worked almost in total silence but when he has the time the chef takes his time to have a chat. The welcome is really warm and that always ads some bonuspoints.
We had the 4 course menu with wines for 94€ and it's worth it. They also serve a veggie menu and they give special attention for people with diabetes (top points here). Appetizers with the drinks give you a good impression on the food to come. The food is excellent, fresh, plentiful, original and has some excellent combinations. The food is the star in this restaurant and everything else just ads extra's. That's how I like it and that's why we've spent a very nice evening. Thanks guys.

We took the "stoveke menu" including adapted wines, price 94 euro. Not cheap but worth every penny. Excellent presentation. Delicate tastes. Nice atmosphere only locals. Normally you have to reserve 2 month in advance. But thanks to internet we saw a free table and were lucky to get a last minute. fantastic evening!
