Fast friendy service, served bread and olive oil instantly (not always the case). Excellent sea fish and seafood.

We arrived for a late lunch on arrival in Deiva Marina without a reservation and were shown to a table inside. Not the most friendly or attentive staff who were rushing around serving clients on the terrace. Felt more of a nuisance than a welcome guest. Shame as the seafood was delicious but we had no desire to linger due... More

Great food, helpful staff and ideally located on beach. Would prefer for dinner, rather than dinner but if you are in Area, trying food will be an experience

The food was good, and so was the service. But I would not call this upscale as others have said. We sat on the porch on plastic chairs with a big C on the back of them so they would know who they belonged to. There was a lizard walking on the ceiling and a dog in the restaurant. This... More

The Clipper was recommended by our hotel, the Hotel Arcobaleno Bagni, and it was a 5 minute walk. It is right on the promenade near the ocean, and must say it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. The white fish was outstanding, and the service impeccable. This place is more upscale in their prices, but it... More

Really fantastic service and food. We had dinner at May 17, on the day of the 200 year constitution anniversary of Norway. Thanks to the team from 3 Norwegians!

The Clipper serves typical Ligurian fare. Fish, pastas .... The service is less than satisfactory. The food is good, but I cannot remember a bad Italian meal. The prices are high. Too high for the food. The problem with The Clipper is what is wrong with Deiva Marina. It is uninviting, locals resent the tourists, there is confusion in all... More
