"Les bonnes tables du Lot"..a strong and great organism that offers our guests the best of this département peu connu: But we were not satisfied but we think it's unfair to not distinguish between food and service. It offers good and typical food of this region. We cannot complain.- Prices were , compared to other members fair and you could... More

A nice logis in a small village. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was small and functional. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant, The food was very good and the service was pleasant and efficient.

visited mid week lunchtime for bar snack so limited choice; service prompt and cheerful, obviously popular with locals

We were out in the middle of nowhere on Sunday evening, everywhere closed and hit lucky (with trip advisor help) with this one. Gorgeous terrace setting, recommendations on the menu de la terroir which were perfect. Tagliatelle aux Legumes to start, a butter soft lamb stew for main and a bottle of corbiere. Perfection. Service a little slow otherwise would... More

I'm a small sample size, a solo diner, but I found much to like and nothing to complain about. Be advised that you may find yourself seeking an explanation of the fare from someone who does not speak English. Even so, satisfactory conclusions were reached. My slow-cooked lamb was exactly what I hoped and remained full of local flavor. Everything... More

Arrived without a reservation and got the last table. This busy restaurant was packed, mainly with hotel guests. Only three staff for about 60 covers and service was slower than it might otherwise have been. However it was good service with a limited but good quality menu and a reasonable wine list with 50cl bottles of wine.. Useful when driving.... More

We stayed in this hotel-restaurant for a couple of days but ate there only in the first night because we came from a long trip on the roads rather late. the dinner was Ok and that's it nothing more that will cause us to eat there again on the following nights that we stayed there.

It was our first stay at La Garissade and we were positively surprised by both the quality of the food as well as the kindness of the service. The hotel/restaurant is an impressive old stone house, located close to some of the most beautiful areas to visit in south of France. We spent four days in Labastide-Murat and it was... More

We spent a few days in the area - this was the only restaurant that bothered to open - so we ended up having dinner several times. However it was not a concern as we were welcomed like old friends each time. Food was delicious and served attractively and menu had a good variety of dishes.

We have frequented La Garissade quite regularly, but were shocked by the most recent menu and quality of the food. La Garissade is not exactly cheap and you would expect more from the renowned chef than 'a banger & mash' which is currently on the menu. The creativity seems to have dissappeared, but when I ordered the sausage and mash... More
