Tucked away off the main road this is worth seeking out. We sat outside, varied menu, brochettes were tasty and well cooked, steak was also good but star of the show was ratatouille which was best we have tasted this holiday. Only sadness was we had no room for crepes! Have to go back.

When you enter this place you go back in time; this is an authentic medieval restaurant, made up of several nooks where one is surrounded by old beams, thick walls, old stones and a fireplace. Staff is welcoming and there is a relaxed ambiance. We enjoyed a lovely Roquefort crèpe and a Cevenol plate that included home made ratatouille, local... More

St Jean du Gard is at the end of the tourist steam railway and we walked into the town for a light meal before the return journey. We managed to find a table on the balcony and enjoyed savoury crepes and cider. very pleasant young waitress.

Have visited this restaurant a number of times. But the menu; even the carte has not changed in 15 years. It's a nice spot but please have a look and change the menu. If you did there would be more repeat business.

Totally fine pancakes, salads and ice creams. Very good for a simple lunch. There were some options for vegetarians - I have a nice asparagus crepe. Would recommend it for a simple lunch.

Ate here with two friends and we enjoyed a good meal from the fairly limited menu. We have eaten here many times and keep coming back. This is not a gourmet restaurant(there aren't any in St Jean du Gard) but they serve straightforward wholesome food well. I particularly like the Gateaux de Cepes as a starter and also the tagliatelli... More

There wasn't an extensive menu at this restaurant but it was friendly and cosy. As a family we really enjoyed our visit and found the food good and staff very patient of my poor french. I would highly recommend it for a simple meal out.

La Treille has a small indoor dining room and a tiny vine-draped balcony with 6 or 7 tables - no view other than the house across the street. The menu mainly consists of savoury and sweet pancakes, with a couple of salads and hot dishes (duck, lamb) - nothing suitable for vegetarians. It's a casual and simple place, but the... More
