We love Sanlucar, but this was the first time we had eaten at PdlV. It's next door to Casa Balbino, but differs in that it's mainly tables in the side street, with table service from the extensive menu. I did go in to look at tapas, and chose an excellent avocado/prawn dish. We also had cheese, large langoustines (Sanlucar ones,... More

I live in Sanlùcar and find that this is the place I refer many people to. Easy to find, delicious variety of local seafood and comparably quick service for Andalusia.

Lovely ambiente, great staff. Classy place. Ordered the solomillo de buey, which was divine. Highly recommended. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Even got a free mini bottle of cava as it was our wedding anniversary. But you didn't hear that from me.

The food in this tapas bar/restaurant is visually stunning and a delight to eat. When we visited it we had a dish for 2 which was more than enough. Beautifully cooked slices of ox with potato slices finished in olive oil plus a green salad, followed by desserts which were stunningly delicious. We were so impressed we went back to... More

Visited 4 or 5 times now and we always find the tapas to be good and at a good price. Service is good but very little English spoken. English menu available which helps but they generally need to compare against the Spanish menu to order.

Just around the corner from Casa Balbino, this is a quiet haven with fabulous food served in over unique way (try the battered asparagus served in a ceramic bag!). When we asked for a jug of Sangria, the staff all clubbed together to gather ingredients and argue about the best recipe - a joy to watch!

I have had a morning coffee here once before but never eaten here and will not do so again. One of our group fancied trying the locally-noted toast with ham, mozzarella and basil so we walked past the always consistent Balbino’s in the main square to eat here in what is basically a side alley. It was a mistake. The... More

We sat outside this time after several visits to the Victoria and again had a lovely tapas meal. We asked for an English version of their menu, and we were in stitches over the translation of their menu, some really funny words to the dishes, we did want to do our version for them, but it would spoil the character.... This is my favorite restaurant in Sanlucar. All of the traditional dishes are here and are delicious, then there are very creative tapas that you really can't find anywhere else. I have been here numerous times, highly recommend.
