We always go back to Casa Balbino each time we visit Sanlucar. Located on the main square, it has a great terrace where You can seat anc enjoy the tapas and the lively ambiente from the town. No table service, You must order and pay inside.

We went here in 2015 and looked forward to a return visit this year. It is perfectly located in the plaza and ideal for just watching the world go by. You obviously need to do this with a few glasses of chilled manzanilla and the famous frito de camaron which are by far the best I have tried. Snails are... More

If you don't speak a little Spanish you may at busy times struggle to get attention. It's worth it in the end though. Fabulous tapas & the staff though appearing gruff are charm itself once you have scratched the skin of the place.

Busy outside cafe. Self serve. Great prices. The tapas were very good. We were four people and had several wines and beer and six different tapas dishes for E59!

Self service tapas. Very average in my opinion, not friendly or helpful staff. Definitely would not eat here again as much better restaurants close by. Just okay!

Brilliant sherry bar in a lively square in the centre of Sanlucar. We tried 3 sherries and bought a bottle of the sweet Manzanilla too. Great location, lovely atmosphere, helpful staff.

You will never find a better tapas bar in Spain or elsewhere. The speed of service in a crowded bar by very smart and very efficient staff is a wonder to behold!

Visited for lunch on recommendation. Didn't disappoint. Lots of deep fried options, which doesn't tend to be my preference, but overall food was very tasty and I particularly enjoyed the deep fried chocos -I ended up have a second portion! Situated in a bustling plaza so great atmosphere. Only negative was that is was very busy. We were lucky and... More
