Simple, efficient, a little bit expensive. But they have a nice spot on the port and the experience (oldest family in the port, at least, that s what they claim)

I visited this establishment this week in the evening. Very friendly staff and very much local or French visitors. Very simple but delicious dishes . We were a group of 3 and none of us like oysters but we were able to order delicious fresh prawns and we also had a pot of Basques pâte. It was great simple setting... More

Oysters, prawns and bulots... Wine. Water. Bread. That's the choice in this charming family run seafood cabin on the portside in Gujan-Mestras. Arcachon is for tourists; this place is the real deal... Lovely service. Sea food was delicious.

Overlooking the lovely oyster port of Larros, a traditional oyster bar with a limited seafood menu - as required by law. In June, oysters are getting milky and so it is better enjoyed in the spring or fall (and winter when weather allows). Service is friendly and efficient.

A good place to go for a basic but quality meal of oysters or shrimp. Fresh bread and good regional wine. Very pleasant waitress who seemed unflustered and served efficiently. A perfect place to stop for lunch. You will not be disappointed.

Fresh oysters to an affordable price. Only negative point is that they do not offer alternatives for those that do not like oysters (only pate). The surroundings are very peculiar with all the old fashioned small restaurants an docks. Curious experience to repeat. I took two dozens for home for a really good price.

This is a place to have a simple meal of fresh oysters, good bread and butter, and vin ordinarie at a fair price. We have eaten here several times and were never disappointed since we weren't expecting other than simplicity and freshness. It's difficult to understand how anyone butt a competitor could find fault unless they were expecting a 3... More

Thought the concept of getting fresh oysters right at the docks sounded good. I think we overpaid for oysters considering the prices we later saw all over the area. And they were not the best or freshest we had either. Selection was limited. House wine was awful. Service was uninterested.

I first visited Port de Larros just after a gourmet meal at La Gueriniere, but could not resist the little oysters and a glass of rose offered here :) Fresh oysters, friendly service, the pate was nice. But what I liked the most was the boiled big shrimps. Super yummy. They do not accept credit cards though, so bring enough... More
