We visit Melbourne once a year or so and always return to Babka. It is consistently really good and have not had a bad experience.

This is a very busy little cafe, every table was taken, and when you receive your meals you can see why, very fresh and very tasty, they make excellent coffee ,the service was great, all in all a very pleasurable experience.

Babka makes the best bread around. Don't miss out. Their light lunches (I particularly recommend the Menemen) are a Brunswick Street delight. Good coffee, delightful service in a friendly atmosphere overlooking the street. Highly recommended.
