During our bike trip we had coffee in this place. It's very alternative and the coffee is very good. The staff is friendly.

Approx 20 years ago we came for the first time to Melbourne and I remember a lunch we had that was so tasteful that I still think back about it with good memories. This place served me today a lunch (tomatoes with stonefruit) that will...easily overthrow that first memory. My goodness, how tasteful was this!!! This taste in combination with the contemporary surroundings and the good service made this lunch into “The One” of this holiday (so far). This was really good!!!More

This lovely place is kind of an indoor garden, a bit messy but in a totally charming way... it even had a ping pong table!! We only had coffee but there were interesting choices for lunch, many organic and vegan. I definetely recommend this place...when going to Fitzroy.More

More than just a food van, this cafe mixes cool decor with a very chilled atmosphere. Visit after 3pm when the menu changes to bar snacks for a glass of wine and delicious snacks

Just visited this cafe and enjoyed the innovative menu (eg asparagus, peas and smoked trout with a lightly poached egg)and the thoroughly helpful and charming wait staff. A quirky space that welcomes and pleases. Highly recommended.

While we were doing a bicycle tour of Melbourne we stopped for lunch at Grub. A very chic little restaurant with good food, good service and a unique style atmosphere, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Hi. There should be no problems getting a table for a group of 8. However, please call grub on 03 9419 8991 for bookings, as i don't have access to the bookings book. Hope to see you then. Cheers Mark

Yes indeed, dogs are welcome. In fact the lovely Grub people keep a supply of dog biscuits on hand for their canine customers. We actually sat inside with a friend's dog, both of whom are regular customers.
