Enjoyed my flat white (wish it was larger) and huevos arepa. Really tasty and kept me full late into the afternoon. Unique and worth trying.

since it has been a while since we have been to sonido, we decided to chance it on a rainy day and it was a good decision as we easily got a table again. we had the ropa vieja arepa or old clothes beef cooked in secret cuban recipe which was a generous dollop of moist and tender shredded beef... Went to pick up a couple of coffees for a colleague and myself - both of which were made quickly and were delicious. The only down side is that they had a $15 eftpos minimum!! So I ended up having to buy more to make that up. Mind you the banana bread was delicious!

Try the soy latte and Portuguese tarts, they're great. Otherwise the food is good, the menu limited, and the service a little iffy. Good for brunch, and a regular spot to clear the head on a Saturday morning.

Fantastic vibe to this place, and the food is up there as well. Try the Morcilla Arepa for breakfast, a great way to start the day.

Popped in for breakfast; had the bean and feta arepa and it was fantastic! The arepas are GF and there is one vegan option as well.

Cute little cafe, and we were lucky to get a table on a busy Tuesday at lunchtime. Food, especially arepas was fantastic. Service very friendly and efficient. The only downside was the coffee, so I'd recommend eating at Sonido, then checking out the coffee somewhere else. I will definitely visit this cafe when I'm next in Melbourne.

3 of us went to Sonido for morning tea and we were all very pleased. The coffees were good and the cakes amazing! My friend ordered the custard tart and I had the chocolate berry brownie, they were both warm and seemed homemade as well as fresh this is a must when any where near the area needing coffee and...
