This was our favourite of the four restaurants we ate at on Salina by some way. Nice terrace, friendly and knowledgable service and good food, including the best pasta alla norma I've ever eaten. Just one warning: the calamari are frozen and pre-breadcrumbed, but to the waiter's credit, he did quietly warn my wife .......

I have been to almost all places in Salina and must say this is the place where you eat simple but outstandingly prepared dishes. Some if the best include the tuna tartare, pasta al ragu di totano, tagliatelle alle gamberi e zuchini, fritura di calamari e gamberi. Amazing and top quality/price ratio.

The Aeolian Islands are not very good normally for dining. Cucinotta defies expectations and is a very good dining spot with polite service. All dishes were good although not outstanding but much better than the tourist fodder in so many of the restaurants around.

We then shared a shrimp pistachio pasta, slightly over salted but delicious all the same. It was lighter than some of the other pistachio pastas we have... More

Food tasty, service helpful, setting delightful overlooking the sea and the narrow street. Busy from about 8.30 pm but low key and reasonably priced.

We couldn't find the place following TA map. As we continued to walk down the street looking for other restaurants, we just happened to see this restaurant. It was a Tuesday evening at around 7:45pm, several tables with the best sea view were reserved. We were lucky to have a table for 2 in the outdoor area with quite a... More
