Not my first visit but I arrived after a 2.5 hour journey with my 87 year-old Mum. Firstly upon ordering a drink and food I was asked to carry the tray with drinks, cutlery and condiments out into the garden despite 3 people chatting together behind the bar. I took the tray and was unable to help my mother to... More

Stopped in for lunch at this wonderful country pub. Beautiful outside garden seating but also excellent inside. Staff very friendly. Just had a light lunch as we had dinner plans for later. Excellent menu and food quality equally so. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get on with our journey.

Repeat visit as we like it so much (on holiday). We all ate fish but different types- tuna, salmon and plaice. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Decor good. Toilets are spotless and they give you Molton Brown hand soap and hand lotion- which I like. Noticed big garden area to have a drink outside this time + play area... More

It was lovely to see you back again after your initial visit and I'm pleased you all enjoyed your meals (and that you managed to sneak the very last plaice from the specials board!!). Thank you for posting a review and I hope you've had an enjoyable holiday despite the varying weather. See you in the week!! More

Family lunch on Sunday - lovely atmosphere and able to take our well-behaved dog in with us. All made very welcome by unobtrusive, smiling staff who really seem to care about this place. Nice décor inside, pleasant loos. Excellent menu options with daily specials. Food arrived hot and well-presented - we had roast sirloin, salmon and sea bream. All great.... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch for my husbands birthday with family. The food was very good especially the fudge cake with salted caramel ice cream. The service was good, very friendly and they made a fuss of my husband for his birthday, with a candle, and happy birthday. It was a very happy lunch.

Great local Cotswold pub. Big serves and good food. Great garden in the back with good playground for kids. Not too pretentious which is great and relaxed quick service. Highly recommended,

A typical pretty Cotswold pub but excellent restaurant with good food and plenty of choice. Vegetables (always a good test) were excellent, not over cooked and local produce. Recommended but do book it gets busy.
