Nice garden with no view like other reviews have said. Quaint setting - new touch to provide free local liquer and figs. Ok where to start, I had the pancake with goats cheese which was bland and not warm, it was sold as a hot...starter n menu - I advised the waiter it was not hot and was advised how can goats cheese be hot - very confused!! Second course the squid served with VERY salty chips - it was ok. My partner had the burger- very very plain with again saltly chips and not really what a chef would cook rather a lunch time beach food snack. Really sorry would love to give good reviews but thumbs down. slow service bit was busyMore

My friends and I went there two times during our vacation. Octopus was perfect every time. Homemade rakija, cheese and ham was also perfect. The host was very lovely and all the other staff as well. We will be back. :)

AMazing !!! Dont miss this place if your anywhere on island. We were originally in Hvar city staying for three nights and visited Park restaurant on our first where we got recommendation on this place (otherwise I doubt it we would gone here). Every single...meal you have there you will be just amazed. We had meat but saw other people having sea food aswell. You have opportunity ordering traditional dalmatian PEKA but thats something what for you need to call in advance to be done. However, eating boar is not something you are likely to find elsewhere around haha. Cheese they serve is also prepared traditionally as everything else you find on your plate in this place. Restaurants area is more rural village-like place surrounded by calm nature. Not so many tables so either be early or call in advance to secure yourself a spot.More

We went to Kokot for dinner. We’ve been there before and we always like to come back. We simply love the domestic atmosphere and food that this restaurant offers. The restaurant is located in a small village near Stari Grad and it is a perfect...location to get away from crowdedness of a touristic town. Also the staff is very nice and friendly especially the owner Teo. Food is exceptionally good. There is almost no chance you can make a wrong choice from the menu. Everything is very tasty. Our go to meal is octopus “peka”. The prices are affordable, especially compared to the rest of the island and the portions are fairly large. I recommend this place to all my friends who are visiting Hvar and want to try local food.More

We just walked here from Stari Grad for giggles to make a picture because kokot means "man-sausage" in our language but ended up having great dinner in a beautiful sweet village restaurant. Exceptional service, beautiful view, great food. Both risotto and vegetables and meat from...the outside gril were very tasty. If you're on Hvar, it's totally worth it 😉More

Little village next to the "Starogradsko polje", mid of August, locals playing bocce in the sunset. Well organised family tavern offers traditional meals like grilled lamb, boar meat, peka etc. We had boar pljeskavica and grilled lamb, red house wine. Staff very friendly.

This quaint little house on a farm had great food, great service and friendly atmosphere. I felt like I was eating over at family's house. The grappa before and after dinner was amazing, the boar burgers were off the chain and the appetizers were epic....Don't miss this experience if you go to Hvar!! I'll be back in June for Round 2 :-)More

I am back home still dreaming of this meal right now. OMG the octopus "peka" dish was so good. The whole dining atmosphere is truly a memorable experience, tucked away from view and entering into a lush garden area. I would maybe recommend bringing some...bug spray though, there might be mosquitoes flying around but the food is amazing and authentic and worth the drive.More
