Joined by 5 friends for one of our regular get togethers, met for lunch on a Wednesday. Although we had reserved for inside, they did manage to accomadate us outside in the garden as it was such a nice day. After that things went rapidly downhill. Served with drinks but informed there were some problems in the kitchen so there... More

Although the lunch menu wasn't massive it had something for everyone , staff were very pleasant , and the food was really tasty . Only down side I have to say is that it is quite dark inside and I had to hold me small printed menu up to a table lamp to be able to read it X

I recently visited the keys twice last week and both times was very disappointed. We decided to go for food and drinks in their garden, staff walking past and no one noticed we had not been served drinks, so after 20 minutes we went inside and ordered them at the bar. We had originally gone for food but lost interest... More

Arrived at 12 noon on a Thursday and sat in the garden as the sun was shining! Immediately told (by a very polite waitress) that kitchen wasn't serving until 12.30 for some reason. Even though we had two small children we decided to wait. While we were waiting the garden became very busy without a seat to had but inside... More

Call in on spec the other night for an early tea. Pretty good selection of grub, but limited, quality excellent, portion size very good, without being wasteful Wine selection reasonable, price very good Would I go again?? Yes

I came here a few months back with the wife and kids and had an amazing time, great service and lovely food. However on this occasion both service and food where of a poor standard. I came here with a friend on Saturday for a pint and a bit to eat as i had highly recommend it. Right where to... More

We had lunch here yesterday. We had one course and it took 2 hours!! We arrived at 12 noon and there were only 2 other tables occupied. Having stood at the bar for a few minutes I managed to find a member of staff to ask if we could sit outside and could she bring some menus. The other members... More

summers evening in Yarm - What's better than getting away from it all with a couple of beers and great friends ? Superb service, brilliant venue and a balmy summers evening as the sun came down in this beautiful old small town. Fabulous inexpensive food, on time, discretely served by friendly staff. Oh to be in England in the summer... More
