Pulled in on the off chance after a day out but managed to easily get a table. We were seated straight away and our drinks order was taken. The drinks came along fairly quickly and we then ordered our food. The starters came along quickly as did the main course but after that we seemed to be ignored. We waited... More

We went to this restaurant last weekend. We ordered courgette fritters for starters to be told that they were out of them. I then ordered a sweet potato and red bean burger to be told no red beans both times the waitress didn't apologise or if seem bothered that I couldn't have what I wanted. She was very stern, with... Ok, ok. I know that I have written about this place before, but we had such a great time, I just had to review it again. I booked the table on line and under 'special requests', asked for a table in the main restaurant, which is exactly what I got. Seated perfectly on time, everyone very polite. To start we... More

Have eaten here a few times. Pretty average food. Not consistent and not always hot enough. Usual food debris on the floor....... Enough said.

I and my family have eaten at the Jacobean barn restaurant quite a few times over the years, all good experiences. Planning another family event last week saw my surprise at it no longer being of that name. It was the Miller and Carter Bexley Steakhouse. Not to worry, the place looked precisely as I remember it and the menu... More

We tend to visit the Jacobean Barn to a three times a year, normally for a birthday celebration, so we went in knowing what to expect and we weren't disappointed. as always the food was of the highest quality, we highly recommend the nachos, but the real showstopper has to the beef dripping sauce. The deserts were simply amazing I... More

Been here quite a few times and always satisfied with both food and service. It may be a bit more expensive than pub food, but it is always worth the extra cost.

Have eaten here on a number of occasions and always been very happy with the service and food. Not this time..... Visited on a Tuesday Evening for a birthday celebration. Beware, upstairs area is closed on Mondays and Tuesday's. Our table was squashed behind the stairway and in front of the Gents toilets and Emergency Exit. No atmosphere other than... More

Luckily for me this is close to where I live so go there regularly. It is now a Miller and Carter restaurant but the food is still excellent. My personal favourite is the Sea Bass but I always visit with friends and as yet I haven't heard any complaints. The atmosphere is congenial and the staff very friendly. We usually go... More
