Took friends this morning and had breakfasts. From Full English to a smaller lighter offering. The quality was brilliant as always and served with good tea and coffee. I love this place and wish could write a review every visit. The owners / staff are TRULY wonderful. This is a lovely place nice and simple with good artworks all over... More

We love this cafe and have never had anything but great food freshly prepared to order. Quirky cafe which reminds me of Covent Garden. Look forward to our next visit.

pleasant place, friendly staff, good food, good price. The Sweet pea is a very laid back, friendly place and appeared to attract a full range of customers. Couples, family groups, groups of friends and so on. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service was good. the Deakin family of New Brighton

I used to go weekly with my son after school, bringing a chess set and have cappucino, coke and home baking (our order is known!) to waste some time before a meeting later...and love the music and the staff and the fact no one bothers us, opposite a gallery that has lot's of great stuff. Slightly vintage in feel with... More

I was determined to visit again, at different times. Food was great, with a sensible choice I.e. Not too many items on the menu. Staff helpful and aware of customers and their needs. As before - and not a criticism - you must give yourself time....no rushing here

We happened upon this delightful open-fronted café by chance on a day trip. It is quirky and boho in style and a pleasant place to pass the time. The bruschetta with mushrooms and spinach was generous and tasty and the sweetcorn pancake with cheese and ham was delicious. Service was friendly and I'll definitely be going back.

Three nights a week Sweet Pea opens in the evening for meals. We went with two friends this Saturday for a meal. It is advisable to book as it is very popular. It is an old garage which has been converted into an eatery. It has large opening doors which can be opened on a warm evening which is reminiscent... More

Went to sweetpea for evening meal for first time, great choice on menu and food was delicious. Had prosecco and later a black Russian, this was so nice. Desserts also lovely too. Recommend a visit, service was great too. A small place, and if busy be prepared to wait a little as only one chef and small kitchen but well... More
