Hot day on the limestone pavement, tired legs and sore knees after the steps, desperate for a cup of tea! We stopped here for tea for all, carrot cake for my young neice, oodles of tea for my wife, and cream teas for my American friend and myself. Was it good? Oh yes, could it have been better, hot water... More

We stopped here after our walk for refreshment. This cafe is ideal for muddy boots and serves an excellent cup of coffee and very superior curd tart.

His well done meant a lot) The gluten free menu was really good... More

A small but friendly village cafe with an array of delicious home-made cakes we stopped in for a well-earned cup of tea, having just returned from Janet's Foss on a warm day. Just what we needed. Worth a visit.

We called here at the begining of our walk to buy sandwiches to take out. The very helpful assistant told us of the packed lunch offer, this gave us sandwich, drink, piece of fruit or chocolate bar plus a bag of crisps for less than £5.00 brilliant value.

Reasonable prices with welcoming signs outside saying even people with muddy boots are welcome! We only had drinks so can't comment on food

We all enjoyed a tasty lunch at the old barn before walking up to janets foss waterfall and malham cove. Despite being busy-it was a weekend-we got a table outside and service was quick. Recommend the full English breakfast and cakes. Price was reasonable. Dog and child friendly too.

Stopped here after our 7 mile walk around the cove etc. Well needed refreshments. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the cream tea was wonderful. Plean type of room to sit in or outside, they even welcome muddy boots.

Been before, this place is a good old fashioned tea shop. They offer a wide range of drinks, meals and snacks. The sandwiches and cakes are really nice. Service is nice and friendly. Cater for walkers, muddy boots and all. Packed lunches are offered for walkers, good value.
