We stayed in Malham for 2 nights and the Buck Inn was a great resting place after a long morning walk. The sadwiches were very nice and the Holy Grail Ale from the Black Sheep Brewery was lovely. The pub is very nice but could do with a little renovation particularly in the dining area.

Great food, great welcome, great choice of ales. Lovely welcoming pub and fantastic staff & lovely owners. They all made us and our 2 German Shepards VERY welcome, they especially enjoyed plenty of rubs & cuddles from Kim. Nothing was too much trouble and were happy to show us the hotel rooms so we could choose a large one for... More

My wife and I eat here on the last night of our stay in Malham. We had visited earlier in the day for a drink a lovely old pub dating from the late 1800's, we decided to return for dinner, we asked them to book us for 8pm just before we left. On our return just before 8pm the bar... More

Superb food in very pleasant surroundings. There were plenty of choices at both breakfast and evening meal. All our food arrived quickly and was very well cooked and presented.

Lovely pub in beautiful little village near Malham Cove. The pub was lovely and warm and so was the lovely room 7. Karen and her excellent staff looked after the 3 of us on 2 wet days. Due to my onion allergy was not going to be able to try the pie BUT Karen to the rescue and one was... More

After walking from Malham to the cove and back we decided to try the Malham pie. It was rather expensive for a meat pie but very nice It came with chips which were excellent although they could have put more on the plate and veg. We sat outside as it was a nice day and waited about 40 minutes. With... More

The food was okay but for fish and chips or bangers and mash, expect to pay about £11-£12. People I spoke to told me that the beer was a bit pricey. It's warm and homely though so give it a try! If it's not to your taste, go to the Lister Arms or drive to Settle which is closely and... More

There seem to be a mix of reviews on here but I can only say as I find and we had been for a long walk and needed somewhere to eat. This place is in the right spot and the menu is traditional pub food. The food was well cooked, plentiful and piping hot. Staff were very friendly. We cant... More

Built in 1874 on the site of an old coaching inn. The Buck Inn is set in the centre of the picturesque village of Malham. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful and quiet, offering you a break from the noisy cosmopolitan life of the big cities. Yet its only a short drive from both Yorkshire and greater Manchester.
