We arrived at 1 o'clock, we found a seat, we were served in minutes, our food arrived within fifteen minutes, it was delicious! Served by really nice staff who listened and cared about what you wanted. Surroundings were impeccable..... what a beautiful little pub! Worth the detour from the Lakes to Kent.

After the long walk to Malham's Cove it was a pleasure to sit down for food at this place, food, beers and staff all were very good.

A very nice pub with a good menu. It's not cheap but nor is it unreasonable for the area. There's loads of room to sit outside and soak up the beauty of the village. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

The restaurant was super busy which was surprising for such a small village but in this case, clearly word gets around that it is a great place for a wonderful meal that is not too expensive. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Having walked to the cove we decided that a pit stop was required before walking to the foss. The bar was busy but not full on a warm Sunday lunchtime. The menu promised proper pies and it was true. Shortcrust, individual pies with plenty of filling (we all hate pastry topped casseroles called pies served in some pubs - a... More

It was the first Time in the Yorkshire Dales and I picked the perfect place to start our holiday. It was such a pretty picture when we arrived, the area was buzzing with walkers enjoying a pint in the sun on the grass. Our room was perfect and food was out standing. The staff were really friendly. I will be... More

The Lister Arms is a very nice friendly pub, not just for people your dog is also very welcome. They even have some homemade dog biscuits behind the bar! There is a great selection of beer and cider on tap. The "flat tyre" rhubarb cider was particularly good! There is a great selection of food on the menu. The seafood... More

Good food with plenty of choice. The cheeseboard was wonderful! Great types of cheese. Lots of different beer. Lovely to sit outside if the weather's nice though plenty of space inside.
