The Lemoni owners and staff can be proud of their great food and perfect service. An ideal place for lunch or dinner, only a few minutes away from the archaeological museum. Tip: try the moussaka and the keftedakia!

We enjoyed a great meal at this local restaurant. We ordered the lamb, veal, spicy cheese spread and local wine and were very impressed. Our host was very welcoming and gave good descriptions of unfamiliar dishes to us. The restaurant was easy to find and...located on route from the Pella Arch. site to the Museum. We definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant!More

I can't remember exactly when I wrote my first review but after a lovely lunch today I am inspired to write again. Yes, I've known this tavern and the owners for years, yes I am a fan and yes, I recommend it to anyone lucky...enough to be in Pella! To Lemoni continues not only to deliver fine quality, authentic Mediterranean dishes but the taverna is flourishing under the love and care of Elena and Alex who are the new generation managers. (Mary and George continue working wonders in the kitchen and service!) New large windows and an enlarged balcony allow diners to enjoy the Grecian light, and attractive new tableware are some of the details that reveal this tavern continues to offer the best eating experience in the district! And of course - the food! The signature salad Fantasia continues to rule our table and the chicken tigania in sweet and sour sauce should not be missed! Fried feta encased in sesame seeds and dribbled in honey is another favourite as well as the juicy grilled mushrooms. Of course the treated dessert offered to every table at the end with a huge smile, is the cherry on top of it all! And if you are in Pella on a Thursday, you will enjoy Greek music played live on traditional instruments by young musicians! I will be back soon!More

After visiting Pella museum we had lunch at Lemoni. It is a very good family managed restaurant with home made dishes. We reserved in advance Vegetarian Lasania and it was the best we had in Greece. All other dishes were very good fresh and taisty...as well.More

We booked Lemoni for lunch in May 2019. We ( a party of 6 ) had been to Lemoni once before, in 2018, and we were pleased with our meal and the fact that we found lunch in an otherwise rather barren ( kictchen wise...) village. Now, our group of 22 had a marvelous visit to the sites and the museum in Pella. The tavern itself eyes modest but the food is genuinly Greek country food of excellent quality. Service is promt without any rush. We recommend. Eddy - Antwerp - BelgiumMore

My wife and I had lunch at To Lemoni following a visit to the ruins of the ancient city of Pella, birthplace of Alexander the Great, We were determined to have some traditional Greek food and asked the waitress to recommend a suitable dish. She...recommended Moussaka which she said was a speciality of the restaurant. Not very exciting, you might think. But what a dish. I have had moussaka in many restaurants in Greece, but this was one of the best I have ever tasted - layers of aubergine over a thin layer of potato and topped with a generous helping of bechamel cream. The portions were very generous - more than adequate for lunch and we accompanied it with a cucumber and tomato salad and a beer. Total cost with tip for the two of us was €30. Following our meal at To Lemoni, we completed our visit to Pella with a tour of the museum where many of the finds from the excavations at ancient Pella are on display.More

We arrived at high noon in Pella. The sun was grilling every living existence not covered by shade. Thirst & hunger!! The ghost town of Pella ! Finally one of the habitants gave us the tip to go try Lemoni, it might be the only...restaurant serving something! There we found a nice family managing a nice greek style restaurant with a shady foregarden, cool beer and a exquisite food! You saved our day! Compliments & thank you so much to be available with your kindness...More

We had the dish of the day - mousaka along with some grilled yellow cheese and a simple but delicious greek salad. All was delicious and fresh. We recommend it ! A must go to eat place if nearby.

I went here due to TA recommendations and was not disappointed. I had a great local sausage meal but more importantly enjoyed watching the interplay amongst a group of old locals who were into vigourous argument with much theatrical gestures. The ambience and decor of...the place was delightful whilst the locale is less so.More
