We met up with friends we haven't seen in years and opted for diner in La Vache sur le Toit. None of us had been here before, but were pleasantly surprised by the great food and friendly relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely come again. It...is principally a meat restaurant, I had a delicious 4 layered burger containing 2 meat patties and delicious vegetables. Others in the group were equally positive about their meat dishes. The deserts were also a delight. The staff were really kind and in spite of being packed changed our table to downstairs to facilitate one of our group's disability. Great night out!More
Amazing food! Excellent service! Good prices! I went with my colleague and we were on a hurry they serve us very quick. The food was excellent and the price too. Because the perfection of the restaurant you must make a reservation.
Went there for a quick business lunch (2 people)... The service was super friendly, the food was insanely good... It is simple fares, but perfectly prepared and presented... Simply ask the chef which is meat he recommends when you eat there... He knows his stuff...when it comes to meat -and to my great pleasure; it boast A SUPERB rum collection... All reasonably priced!More
Staying in Nivelles on a cold rainy carnival night did not leave too many choices and I stumbled on this restaurant by luck. It is a grill which defines the choice, but the food is excellent. The service was very busy as everyone came at...the same time, but very efficient.More
Dinner for 8 persons, all of us were served in reasonable time. Food was good. Scampi with thai sauce was excellent. Delicious Dame Blanche. The entrecot was tender, but they overcookes it, too much. Wine was standard. We were all satisfied in general.
We went to the Waterloo one and we took a plate with raw fish and meat and visually we could see that this food has made the round of the world before be served....! I don't tell you about the taste...just have to eat frite...with a lot of mayonaise to hide it....and the price was at the same level of awful plate! Coming back at home, my friend was sick!! So in a nutshell, just don't go there!More
Lounge design and music, original menu and most important, a large choice of meals mostly based on variation of beef preparations, all served with original rarely found vegetables and an artistic sense. Pleasant welcome and a interesting terrasse. Easy access and parking.
we drove all the way to this restaurant from Leuven to eat a cote a l'os on the terrace. When we arrived we looked at the state to the terrace area which was terrible and not maintained. We then decided to sit inside. After we...ordered the cote a l'os we were told that they did not have any and we could have a normal steak or entrecote instead. we decided to decline and leave so we have no idea what it would have been like. On a hot day we were looking for a nice terraced restaurant in Brabant Wallon where we could eat a cote a l'os, this was apparently not the case for either. The general antompshere of the place is a kitch and probably looks better when its dark?? we wont go back again.More
It is supposed to be the place to be to eat good tasty beef of all kind... What a disappointment. We have been to the one in Lillois and the one in Waterloo. Both terrible, bad service and very poor atmosphere. A real shame!
