Linnane's is a nice little respite on the water's edge just over the border in county Clare. We were referred here bu our B&B and were so glad for it. There's really not a whole lot around for food options in the Kinvara area and though this place was a 15 minutes drive, we enjoyed the trip as well as... More

Of a party of 8, 4 of us ordered the scallop risotto. And on tasting it, the rice was not just al dente, it was undercooked by a good ten minutes. Having returned the first round of risotti to the kitchen, the second round arrived, still needing another 5 minutes in the pan to bring out the starch in the... More

I think it is certainly worth quit a trip to have a meal in Linnane's Lobster Bar. Without a doubt the best lobster I have had. The atmosphere is as it should be, nothing fancy or posh but on the other hand very well decorated and a great hard working team. It is obviusly a very popular place to eat... More

After a walk at the nearby Flaggy Shore, enjoyed local seafood at this we'll run pub/restaurant. Overall food quality, service & beauty of Burren location very good. One slight disappointment: felt that owners / management could radiate a bit more warmth & welcome to make this a superb experience.

Visited this delightful restaurant with friends who are regulars. The seafood is freshly caught out of the Atlantic and my goodness can you taste the freshness when your food arrives. Service was with a smile and the location of the restaurant looking out onto the bay is wonderful and relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed the sea trout stuffed with crab -... More

Great sea food. Spectacular view. Good prices. Grab your sit outside, ask for a crab or salmon open sandwich and enjoy your fabulous day.

We traveled from Galway to meet a cousin for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is deceptively large, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can see the fisherman out back catching the day's fish to serve in the restaurant. I had oysters as a starter (delicious!) and the clams and pasta for a main. The clams and pasta... More

We stumbled across this little restaurant whilst looking for a light lunch whilst on our Wild Atlantic Way road trip - really all we wanted was a quick sandwich. However once we saw the menu we decided to book a table for an evening meal. Although we were staying in Doolin, the 40 minutes drive there later that evening was... More

I went here with my family. The food was excellent. We had crab claws and salmon with pasta. The service was ok, a bit slow because they were very busy. Call ahead for reservations like we did.

Our group of 12 dined here and to a person, all were satisfied. Wonderful service, excellent seafood (the poached salmon along with seafood chowder were excellent-cheesecake for desert!). Nice view, friendly atmosphere, a choice not to be regretted.

Thank Chip A
