My boyfriend claims he had the best burrito of his life Kelly's Window/La Ventanita! It was sure delicious. I had the Vegan Tico Bowl which also was great. This is a great spot for a lunch. You just order at the window and then sit...down and relax. We honestly regret not haven eaten there again on our trip. Very enjoyable experience at a great price.More

We stopped in here one day for lunch because of all the awesome reviews we saw and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! We all talked about how sad we were that we didn’t make time to visit them a second time during...our stay in El Castillo. If you’re in the area, you have to eat at this spot!More

Tasty food, good portions, delicious fresh drinks, definitely not fast food. Clean toilet for customers, parking limited.

This is one of the best places we ate in Costa rica (and we were all over the place over 6 weeks) The food is fresh, good flavors and big portions. The prices were great! Highly recommend.

This low-frills restaurant (order at the window, take your seat) served excellent food! I had the best burrito (toasted like a quesadilla) ever! And an excellent mixed fruit (water-based) smoothie (actually, two of them because they were so good! Note: they are not on the...menu, but one of the women behind the counter recommended it as her favorite). Enjoy this place if you can get there!More

You can never really tell if something will live up to the hype and with all the great reviews, I still didn’t go in with high expectations. Four of us went twice this week and it was one of our favorite meal. Everything is scratch...made with fresh ingredients, staff awesome and the worker, Kelly, was really friendly and even gave me a dinner recommendation for our next stop in Guanacaste. You gotta love the dream....he said he visited Costa Rica 22 years ago from the states and never left. Place is about five years old and worth the stop over.More

We came here twice in two days if that tells you anything about how much we liked it. The beef chalupa was outstanding, the burrito was phenomenal, and soft taco was equally as good. The prices can’t be beat. If you’re in the area, you...must come here! They don’t serve alcohol but we grabbed a couple of beers from the store up the road, which made lunch pretty perfect!More

We were in El Castillo for 3 days. We got burritos from La Ventanita maybe 4 or 5 times. We couldn't get enough. I'm vegan and my partner eats everything. We were both blown away by the yumminess every time. Friendly service, chilled atmosphere and...delicious food. What more could you want? A must-try if you're in the area (and worth the detour if you're not.)More

Really looked nothing as we pulled up but actually nice setting and the food was sublime and served with a real smile. We had lunch here on Christmas Day - very memorable.

I would ask the Arenal Lodge to find out for you. The food is delicious, with a low-key atmosphere.
