We loved the pizza and ice cream so much we went back the next day. Great thin crust pizza. Friendly staff. Views of the Arenal volcano just a short walk across the street. Howler monkeys were hanging out in the trees behind the restaurant. Highly...More

The staff were super friendly and let us stay past closing to finish our food and chat to them about the restaurant. The pizza was perfect and the ice cream wasn't overly sweet.

Who knew you'd find incredible pizza in little El Castillo?! Mayra cooks up cracker-thin crusts that are exactly what you want in the hot weather of Costa Rica. (There's a reason the doughy deep dish is perfect for cold Chicago!) Our friends said the calzones...More
