The fish tacos and fish and chips were both incredible. The fish and chips were better than fish and chips I’ve had anywhere in the world. Wonderful setting as well. Not many places you can sit down on the beach for a meal and get...this quality of food. PS smoothies were great as well.More

Right on the beach and had a great varity of drinks. We ate there twice and it was very good. The second time we ate there we had whole fried snapper which is not on the menu and man was it every good. Also lola...the pig had just recently died and they were in the process of getting another one. A must do if you are in that area.More

Wonderful view, exemplary service, enjoyed cocktails and notably their coconut milk based ceviche and beet salad. Perfectly satisfying for 2 to share in the shade on the beach in the typically warm afternoon. Reasonable menu prices for a pristine beach front setting. Pure Vida! Mucho...graciasMore

We enjoyed our ~5 hours at Lola’s one afternoon while we were in Tamarindo. The restaurant is nice, open air, and clean, and the chairs and umbrellas they offer are comfy and high quality. However, the whole thing is quite overpriced. Two chairs and an...umbrella cost $40 to rent for the day. (The place not ten feet away offers the same for $20.) The food at Lola’s was just ok, nothing incredibly delicious, but it did keep us full. But just like most places in the area, the food was overpriced. You do get a waiter for the day along with your chair and umbrella should you choose to purchase them, and while we did get checked on every so often, we typically couldn’t find our waiter when we actually did want to order something. (Or they were busy explaining to whole setup to some newcomers rather than waiting on the people who had already paid for the day.) Nice way to spend the day, but definitely a costly day at the beach.More

Family of 6 walked to Lola’s - everyone loved their food. Great variety and very fresh. We booked a table from their website. It was a great place to watch the surfers.

We read reviews of Lola’s before we went and were not disappointed. We stayed the entire day and enjoyed the drinks (strawberry monkey drink I think), lunch and the beach. The food was good but I think the best part was truly relaxing and having...someone bring you drinks. David was our waiter and it was so good and had a smile on his face the whole time. The chairs and hammocks around the restaurant are free but the chairs and umbrellas on the beach are not. We didn’t realize that at first and although $40 for two chairs and an umbrella is expensive, we stayed for hours so it was worth it to have some shade and stay out of the sun a bit. My husband saved the day and actually helped pull out a couple of older guys from the ocean who were struggling in the current. Overall I would recommend coming and spending the day here if you are in the area.More

Had drinks and snacks here several during our stay nearby. Great spot to get some shade during a day on the beach! Not real cheap but good drinks and food. The best part is the location right on one of the best beaches!

The salads here are amazing! Love the beach sitting as well. Some of the cleanest restrooms at a beach you will ever go to as well.

Lola's is true Pura Vida. Relax with a smoothie under the swaying palms as your wait for your seared fish. The tables are far enough apart to give you plenty of privacy. The service is great are consistent with the delightful Costa Rican culture. A...stop by Lola's is a must.More

Yes! We can allow you to pull your vehicle directly in front of the restaurant for easy access to the tables, and we have a wheelchair accessible bathroom as well.

We have just finished an addition and have a lot of covered seating now, downstairs and upstairs, where there are beautiful views of the royal palms and the waves beyond!
