Only place we could find open to eat

We ate here because it was the only place in Turda that we could find open that served food. My wife and I both had pork ribs which came with fries and pickles - they could have kept the pickles. A bottle of the house white wine was very pleasant and helped wash everything down. We sat outside on the terrace and unfortunately there were some very unpleasant smells coming from the drains.

Highly overpriced and disappointing

After half an hour we finally had a parking space. Despite the Reservation we were placed in the least atmospheric part of the restaurant . Fast service, food was also fast but what a disappointment. Weak fries , fried chicken , ribs were kind of ok , but delicious meat sausages . Salad looked great was also fine (please also some stuffing on the bottom instead of just lettuce ) . Terribly overpriced for what you get. I can't find it any more than I can exht (would rather have eaten piza :( )

As a tip we had dinner here and it looked good. When taking the order, it was neatly indicated which meat was not there. But I wanted black bread (made from squid) with salmon. When the food was brought there was no black bread but a regular sandwich. When I approached the man he got angry, indicated that they didn't have it and that I had to make do with this. We visited on Friday evening with a party of 6 for dinner and it was a very good experience. We were seated right away in the indoor/outdoor area and drink orders were taken. We started with 2 of the Hunters Appetizer Platters. They were outstanding, plenty of cut meats, meatballs, veggies, cheeses and mousse. From there we went with several different entrees; Boar, Bear, Pastas, and Duck dishes. All were well prepared and tasty. The service was good, but very slow. Pretty sure he just wanted us to enjoy a leisurely meal, but there were long delays between courses and visits. Overall: A very nice place to visit for food that is off the beaten path,

Good evening. We have had the worst experience at this restaurant. We had a waiter who thought it was ok to call ua by names as we were friends since forever; the same person was really annoyed that we wanted soups at 6 pm, and he “advised” us that normal people don’t eat soup in the evening; more than this, he was retfrustrated when we said we will eat some other place after we drink one coffee, and when I went to pay he refused to accept credit cards because the amount to be payed was to small! We left hungry and annoyed. We advise the owners to hire better people. And guests to avoid the place.

Nice experience👌 Firstly surprised by QR menu, which is a bit chaotic for English speakers. Better to check it in advance on the restaurant website 👀 I ordered vegetarian risotto with mushrooms - highly recommend! And papanasi with chocolate - absolute top! The service is perfect 😍

It was our second stay at the hotel, we wanted to go back this year as well. Wonderful hotel, very clean, happy people, nice breakfast and tastful dinner made out of the best ingredients,and the most important is the staff that make you feel like a part of the hotel family!! All of them they remembered us!Adalbert thank you for the 5 star service you gave us!! I dont understand the reviews that are not giving good score. The breakfast is very good maybe some sweets or croissants would be nice, the restaurant serves the highest quality of food, the prices are value for money, If you ever visit turda book this hotel

Not a good experience there. Nice terrasse, in special castle style house. Service OK. Mojito cocktails not good, non alcoholic Nefertiti very good. Food was overall not very good. Cezar salad ok, salmon burger not good with tasteless salmon, french fries not great, pork neck not very good. Card payment « didn’t work » that day (bank holidays, cash payment requested at arrival), and final check was « prenota ». Tax avoidance ??? Nasty surprise on the bill: +10% for service. Never seen that practice before in Romanian restaurant, and i didn’t see that anywhere visible on the menu. That + cash payment only makes it a very strange practice place. I do not recommend.

We stayed there for the night and enjoyed a beautiful evening in their gorgeous garden. With our wine, we tried the hunter’s platter and the cheese platter, as well as the papanasi. We really enjoyed the food, it was delicious, the service was fast.
