They've got a good cheeseburger here and it is reasonably priced. You eat outside so one a very hot day it can be uncomfortable. Mostly known by the locals as "the ice cream place." I think the ice cream is way too expensive here.

Only had time for ice cream since it was closing time. It can get busy at times. I love their covered outdoor picnic tables. They have good burgers also as we make it a point to go there at least once whenever we visit Oregon.

Out for a ride and decided to stop here. Big covered area to eat under at large wood slab benches and tables. 2 cheese burgers, medium fries and a large drink was $17. From time of order till we got our food, 25 minutes. Was not worth the wait. Bun is about 20% larger than the paper thin burger. Steak... More

Good treats. Slow service. They use good quality local ice-cream. Harder to get to northbound off of I5. Have to loop around under the freeway to get here and then loop back again to get back on northbound. I've lived here for decades and they have always been locally famous. I've never understood why

It could be argued that the reason we go to the Ashland Shakespeare festival, or visit Crater Lake, or see relatives in Medford if we had any, would just be an excuse to stop at K and R drive-in. Today was no exception. We love Umpqua ice cream. One scoop, two scoops, three scoops, four scoops-- I've actually seen people... More

I had high hopes for this road stop. I found it to be just an average place that sold burgers, ice cream, etc. At this stop off of I5, you order at the window and sit outside to eat. There are not any restrooms - even for customers. The employees seemed most interested in just taking orders. We did not... More

Ice cream at Rice Hill has been a special family event since 1970. Thirty five flavors of local Umpqua ice cream from which to choose. Also a limited burger menu.

A incredible variety of Umpqua ice cream! You can even buy ice cream for your dog. Not to miss as you travel on Interstate 5

This Drive-In is well worth the stop if you enjoy ice cream. This ice cream is not typical, far from it! For instance I had lemon poppyseed ice cream and it was wonderful. They have got many many flavors and they are very creative. They also have burgers and stuff like that, but I've not ever stopped for that. We... More

All my kids and grandkids come to visit and then can hardly wait for the now required trip to the drive-in for ice cream. The burgers and chili dogs are just plain good drive-in food, and the fries are almost, just almost, too much for an athletic teen age male bottomless pit. I like vanilla malted shakes, which are sometimes... More
