I have been here, after having read so many very positive reviews and I have to say I' ve got a bit disappointed, because of the high expectations. Moussaka was ok, nothing special at all, cooked in a clay bowl (which I love), with very little aubergines and meat. Tzaziki was ok as well, but I have eaten way better ones.
Very good the baklava, but I wouldn't go back just for it.

This is such a great restaurant with authentic Greek food and fantastic service
If you’re staying in Liapades it’s definitely one worth visiting!!
We have a mix of starters, aubergine salad, stuffed vine leaves and baked feta!!
Mains of traditional corfu pasta dishes, pork and chicken kebabs and my favourite the grilled octopus!!
So great in fact that we visited 3 times across the week

We ate here 2 times in the week. It is family run. Everyone is very lovely. Food is good . Service was very relaxed which wasn't ideal for when we have small children. Food good value for money. Ice creams were very nice.

Not always we have the chance to visit a restaurant with the combination of terrible food and bad service, but Michalis is such a place, we spend almost an hour to get our first orders ( salad, some bread and feta cheese) followed by an non eatable main course if grilled octopus and shrimps with french fries that knew better days....
After tasting the main couses we said that its enough, ask for the bill and left.
Stay away, you can find much better places that this one

I don’t understand the good grades! We waited a very long time for very disappointing food. The 15€ grilled octopus was in fact a single tentacle with 4pieces of oily potatoes and some lettuce. The moussaka was not bad but not good either. We left hungry, So I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

We walked up the hill from our hotel a few times for drinks and a meal here.
All covid safe & clean.
Service was friendly and welcoming and the setting is lovely.
Great cocktails and absolutely lovely food at very reasonable prices.
Our waiter was very kind, offering complimentary cake & limoncello.

Walked from our hotel and found this restaurant. Really friendly staff on arrival. Great table and a lovely setting. Our meal was exceptional. The baked feta starter is a must for anyone coming here. We have now been twice and would not hesitate to go again before we go home.

We had been here twice during our holiday and the service and food was OK. On our last night we had booked and sat down at 20:30. By 21:25 only the wine had turned up. Despite asking twice what the delay was we were told that we hadn't been forgotten. Anyway after waiting for nearly an hour we walked out. I didn't see why I should pay for the wine as we hadn't touched it. The guy behind the counter, I think was calling the police so I paid the 6.50€ and poured the wine in container.
The man behind the counter made no attempt to apologise and was getting very angry. He said that we had only been waiting 15 minutes which was rubbish. His ignorance left a bad taste in the mouth and his idiocy spoilt our last night.
I can see why people give conflicting reviews - our first two meals were OK but when things go wrong it awful.

This was our Last night in Liapades meal.
Myself and my 2 teenage daughters loved the food. Thus consisted of seafood pasta, carbonara, prawns in tomato sauce and rice.
For deserts my daughters went inside to choose icecream which apparently was the best they had ever had. All the waiters were very friendly and attentive.When it was time for the bill they told us the ice cream was on the house. For a very nice meal and ambience I would recommend this place as the price was also amazingly low for the standard we had received.
