My husband and I came for dinner on a Tuesday night and had a great three course meal for 45 euro. One of the most outstanding dishes was the lobster bisque with hazelnut whipped cream. The dining experience was top notch, with lovely bottle service...and a gorgeous view of the pool. The entire restaurant had a open air feel. Don’t miss the gem!More

We made our reservation well in advance for the Friday lobster night. We were seated around the pool...very romantic... and opted for the €49 three course meal (which included the lobster!!!). Everything was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommended this restaurant, especially on...lobster night!More

We first went in October 2019 and went right back now. Breakfast is amazing and a great way to start your day. Dinner however takes on a whole new level. The french cousine is superb! My husband tried foods he normally wouldn't and loved them....The service is second to none and food only makes the experience better. The atmosphere is so romantic and friendly. I promise you will not regret eating here.More

We found the food at The Astrolabe disappointing. It’s okay but not great, particularly for the prices they charge. The service is outstanding however and they had live entertainment - the singer was fantastic! On our first night at The Astrolabe we had the scallop...tartar and crab stater, the scallop main dish and the lobster pasta. The starter was very good as was the raspberry dessert that I ordered. Disappointingly however, both of the main dishes lacked flavour. They were both rather bland. The sauce for the scallop main dish was not only bland, it had not been reduced. It was thin and watery and so would not coat the food. The scallops were cooked nicely, but I found the dish to have an odd combination of elements that really were not in any way harmonious together. And though the lobster and the pasta were both cooked beautifully, the pasta was bland. Yesterday morning at breakfast, we were served a fruit salad with fruit so old and mealy that I found it inedible. Even the coffee was not good. The chicken was dry and there was very little sauce on the plate. The sauce that was served delicious. I only wish there had been more of it! Surprisingly, the onions and garlic had not been cleaned. Not only the skin and root were still on the garlic and onions, but it also looked as if there was soil (dirt) on the skin.More

Not often you find a restaurant that checks off every box - Atmosphere, Food, Service, Value and a bonus of having a two person singer/playing some lite dining contemporary songs. I am alway suspicious when a restaurant offers a price fixed menu, that they skimp...on the portion size - but not here. 49e for appetizer, main course and desert off the regular menu this is truly a value! We had escargot with different a twist, onion soup with lots of onions for apps. For our main courses, we were lucky they had a couple of lobsters left over from Friday night lobster night (included in price fix) grilled with a wonderful lemon butter dipping sauce, a very tasty shrimp & scallops and exquisite sea bass dinners. Needless to say the desserts were outstanding too. And a different twist to the traditional rum shot with macadamia nut for flavor. Checked All The Boxes.More

During every one of our trips to Saint Martin during the past 10 years, we have dinner at least once. It is our go to restaurant for consistency, great flavors, outstanding presentation, etc. We highly recommend it for a romantic dinner or a nice dinner...with the grandkids. They have friendly service and we feel a very good value. The owner is intimately involved in every meal and ensures that all guests leave pleased and content.More

We didn't use the restroom, however there is a ramp from the main building to the dining area outside. So, that would make me believe that the bathroom is accessible for the physically challenged.
