Excellent place for lunch!!!! The mussels are outstanding. Tiny place but fantastic value...one of the best meals/values we had in 2 weeks in France. Our awesome guide, Francois, took us there!

Last time we were in Grandcamp Maisy we were a little disappointed with the restaurant we used so, on this occasion, we thought we would try the Cafe du Port for a Moules Frites lunch before returning to Cherbourg for our boat home. We were not disappointed. The cafe is just that, rather than a restaurant, but in the tradition... More

Nice little place in Grandcamp-Maisy France that we stopped off at after driving around Normandy. Good cold beer! We didn't eat so I'm not giving them 5 stars and they didn't have anyone to come out and take our order. Everyone had to go in and get their own....

Quick service. Not a particularly nice area but the food looked good and it was clean. Worth a stop if you are hungry or thirsty on a drive between museums.

On a small tour of the Normandy beaches, our guide brought us to this waterside restaurant. It appeared to be more of a fast food joint, but were we surprised. It is an excellent place for great local seafood at a reasonable price (something that is almost impossible to find in France). From fish & chips to chowder, everything our... More

A pleasant little bar by the coast. Nothing special but, I think having visited the D Day beaches, nothing could compete at that time!

May 17, 2013 We stopped in Grandcamp-Maisy for lunch after the recommendation by a French cousin. We had been touring the Normandy coast and had just come from Point du Hoc. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We paid 41.80 Euros for three of us. That included entrees and desserts for all of us. The brasserie sits right on... More

We were on a group tour of the Normandy Beach’s when we stopped here for a light lunch. This small Bar/Café in Grandcamp-Massy sets in a good location on the water front. The menu has limited but good sandwich selection, my spouse and I ordered the Croque-monsieur with Frites. The toasted Ham & Cheese sandwiches were very tasty. Our waitress... More

A typical French bar, modern, at a nice place. Friendly stuff, not overpriced, especially in regard of the location.

This is a small 'working' bar for the fishermen right on the harbour. There are just a few tables inside for food. Nothing too fancy but the food is good, fresh and resonably priced. Friendly service. There are more tables outside, but at the end of March not being used by many! I should imagine that in summer this will... More
