This fabulous oasis is just what you need after a long hike in the beautiful Czech forests. Their daily offerings vary and are always quite tasty. Our server spoke English quite well and was very efficient and attentive to our needs. Unusual for a small...village restaurant, they had a good variety of International wines. We were lucky enough to be there for the Hunter's offering which included Wild Boar and Venison. We definitely have and will go back again. at the end of your hikes. In fact, we plan this visit around our hikes in the area now :)More

I really liked the garden of the restaurant, you sit next to the trees and flowers, service was nice and fast. We went there based on recommendations at TripAdvisor but were quite disappointed. Meat was not well cooked - very dry. Fruit dumplings was quite...OK, but cottage on the top seems to be old (stale). Otherwise I would recommend this place not only for families because there is not many good restaurants in this region.More

We were 2 families with children. Total of 10 people. The food was pretty surprising - kind of fusion of local classic Czech food with French- Italian touch. We tried everything from the (short) menu and all was good

Good atmosphere and good food. Not the easiest place to find, on the road from Turnov to Mala Skala, but well worth the effort.

My only regret about this restaurant is that I didn’t have time to try everything on the menu! This is truly a great little restaurant! It is very quaint, it’s staff are friendly & the food is superb! If you find yourself in Turnov, don’t...miss this great little restaurant!More

We stop by the restaurant every time we are visiting the area. It has great food, great service and intimate atmosphere in a historic old mill. Can recommend everything on the menu, this time we had the grilled goat cheese with beetroot, Flank steak with...potato mash and finished with the delicious blueberry dumplings, all washed down with the local beer. A definite must if you enjoy czech cuisine.More

The place has great atmosphere of a medieval mill from 16th century. The menu is local and change twice a week. All the food we had was great. The waitresses were nice and polite. We would come back when we will be in the area.

I am more than happy to share my excitement about this restaurant. Everything was absolutely fine (service, food, drinks), but I was totally stunned by smoked trout in potato pancake. There is nothing left to say, I will be more than happy to visit it...again.More

Very close location to the end of the canoeing trip , so we had a late lunch, sitting outside in the shade, while the children explored the little bridge and surroundings. Recommend the steak and the vegetarian gnocchi, but most of all the desserts.

This place is the favorite of an annual visitor to Cesky Raj, and we were not disappointed. I had pork cheeks, which were fantastic, but ou entire group loved their meals. We were in a Cody, small room with stone walls and watched the rain...outside. Could not have had a nicer evening. There is a camp nearby, and a number of families were eating on the patio. Kids could play off on the side, with a pond, grassy area, and a nearby creek.More
