Small, cozy but luxurious place, very welcoming and friendly waitresses, the service was fast, food delicious. They have Sonnentor organic teas in there, that I personally love. I had these pancakes with jam (probably homemade) and curd. We enjoyed our visit in there, I hope...to come back soon!More

We were here with a group of 7 people.Everyone had a different meal and every meal was excellent.Served in a special kind on a differnet plates as ussually.Also home made drinks was very tasty.Staff very pleasant and all atmosphere in restaurant was great.If you go...to Kuks Hospital dont miss this place.More

We had a soup and 4 different meals and they were all super tasty, fresh and typical Czech. the duck confit is a real gem. Also the view from the restaurant at the Kuks castle is breathtaking.

One does not expect much in such a small place but Baroque is an outstanding place. Obviously people love to work there, love to prepare meals with care and phantasy! As a vegetarians we have sometimes problems with all risotto everywhere ;-(). Baroque has at...least four dishes fo world quality for us. We tried all :-))). Yoummm! It doesn not matter if it is lunch or dinner or just snack. Very friendly staff, helpful, always in good humour (not so usual in the country ;-€).More

We were hungry after visiting that beautiful place - Hospital Kuks, and wanted to find some nice restaurant for lunch. There is the restaurant just next to Hospital, but one offers nothing special. Then we walked down to Kuks where you can find Baroque just...behind the bridge over river Labe. It is a standard place, no luxury, ordinary tables, one could say nothing special. But after looking at menu one can find it is special. There are many standard Czech meals, but we had the Onion soup with Lucina cheese. Good choice. As it was the Good Friday before Easter holidays we wanted some no meat meal as the main course. And the restaurant offers really good pieces without meat. We had the Baked Potato with mushrooms and rozhuda cheese with fennel and pear salad. This is incredible mix of tastes. Excellent chef, I guess. We also had the Zucchini cakes with gorgonzola cheese and salad. Also delicious. We could not miss some desert. Everything was good. Prices are a bit higher, but still I felt like I got a good value for money. Staff is not good, rather for a pub than a restaurant serving that nice meals. Conclusion.... order special meals rather than pieces known by everybody. Chef is able to prepare good plates.More

This place offers a really tasty food and as it is located right under the hill where the famous Kuks hospital is, it is nearly impossible to miss it. We had a broth as a starter and the duck with red cabbage and dumplings as...the main course and it was truly good. I do highly reccommend this place to everyone, but keep in mind that reservation in advance could be needed as they tend to be full around lunch time ( dont know about the dinner time).More

It was great experience wich we did not expect. They offer modern variation of czech cousine. Food was delicious, prepared from fresh ingredients. I can reccomend their raspberry lemonade, it was full of fresh raspberries. Also dessert, orange cheesecake, was excellent. Only tiny minus was...caffe which tastes great but was prepared too hot.More

Really lovely place in Baroque style. Really well kept- gardens and inside. When you book tickets you are booking with a guide . The gardens are free of you are not visiting inside.It is part of the village Kuks so all is together . Really...worth the visit .More

Excellent food - Czech food in a gourmet rendition. Good price for a first class local meal. The view from the restaurant is of the most important monument - the Kuks hospital built in the early 17th century.

I came with friends to see the beautifully renovated herb gardens at the outrageously over-the-top baroque historic convent and church. The late afternoon sky added tremendous drama to a scene already dripping with emotion. We had dinner and spent the night in the Baroque restaurant...and guesthouse and were very pleased with the quality overall. Traditional Czech dishes were presented with modern style and in giant quantities. I had excellent noodles with mushrooms and rabbit. Others had stacks of duck confit with huge dumplings. There were pots of meat served in jars of duck fat. It was all delicious. If the studio apartment we stayed in were in Manhattan it would rent for $5000 a month but here it was reasonably priced and so clean that I doubt anyone had stayed there before. We had Czech speakers among us but if we hadn't, we might have had difficulty communicating as all signs and menus are in Czech.More
