Nice atmosphere. Good service and nicely presented drinks and food. Basic food but of a good standard.

Unexpectedly good simple hot Sunday lunch served in a very traditional way with friendly staff in very simple surroundings but you can see care is taken.

Not really a bistro, more of a greasy spoon in a bistro setting. No complaints though. Food was fine and tasty and not overpriced. Would go again

Had a lush toastie and a warm welcome. Lots of regulars coming and going which is always a good sign. Not much else to do in the town however Will be back!

Enquired if there was a table for three. Told "full". End of 'conversation'. As there was lots of unused tables not sure what was full...but we went to the Angel and loved it. Won't try again.

Uninspired, everything too much bother. We went for tea and cake but even that was beyond the waiter. `he came back three times to check the order. Tea was lukewarm when it arrived 10 minutes later. Cake took another 5 minutes to arrive.

This guy doesn't deserve any business. We went in to look at menu over a bank holiday and based on expensive prices decided to go elsewhere. We were rudely told "you won't find anywhere else to eat you know". Guess what we did and this guy serves to fail and go bust.

Lasagne and chips for lunch and a pot of tea for under a tenner, warmed us up but wasn't inspiring. This place has potential to be so much better
