World-class smoke brisket, great burgers and cold beers in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful, friendly owners and I wouldn't miss it whenever I'm up there fishing. It has become a yearly ritual. Graham even makes a custom burger for me. I've never been there when they have entertainment but it seems to attract quite a few people, so it must be good.

A great place to eat and drink that also has live music occasionally. The service is top notch as are the owners. Great friendly atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Great place to stop on the way to the resort. The food was good. It was the only restaurant on the way to the resort.

Up in Perrault Falls beginning of August 2019.
This is an awesome road if you are on a Bike, great scenery, twisty road from Vermillion bay to Perrault Falls, lots of lakes, falls.
I can't tell you that everything was 100% home made, but the burger and fries were amazing. Interesting blend of spices in the burger, on a pretzel bun. (We had a bacon cheese burger and a mozza burger if I remember correctly)
Simple menu, which is great.
Awesome atmosphere.
This place is cozy, but you can't buy Canadiana like this. (Americana too!)
They brought back to life an old restaurant, (log, not sure on the age) if you don't have a walk around while your there to inspect the local artifacts, it would be a shame. It's like eating in a time machine.

Well when you are up in the Canadian wilderness eating fish three times a day, this is the spot to go! We were so impressed with the fresh made pizzas, we now make it the Wednesday night tradition on our fishing trip!

I was in Ear Falls for work from April thru November 2018. My crew would travel the 30 minutes to The Whiskey Jack for supper at least every other week. It's a little pricey but the food is Fantastic and the atmosphere is unique. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the stop. The pizzas are home made, large and loaded with toppings. The home made perogies are Amazing. I miss this place. I will definitely be back.

I have been here one time before this trip. I had no problem with my order as everything was correct and well done. Plenty ample serving of good basic food in the Canadian wilderness. The wife's wasn't as good an experience. First the girl missed her Pepsi order even though I got mine after saying I will have the same???? Her cheeseburger was to well done in her opinion and she generally orders stuff well done. You can't win them all. Jay

Our last night at Sleepy Dog Cabins we went to the WhiskeyJack for dinner. The service was very quick, the food very good. I had a creamy vegetable wild rice, and the chicken burger, others in my party had cheeseburgers, one had a salad, one had fries. The salad was loaded and looked very fresh. The fries were very goood and plenty of them. The sandwiches came on homemade buns which were very good, a light. The soup is something I am going to crave later, it was full of flavor and veggies.

Try the soup. Laura is an incredible cook so if you need a hot meal, go here!! And if you can catch one of the bands, it makes a great diversion from the incredible fishing in the area!

While 2 stays at Manotak lodge we have been able to spend time at whiskey Jacks with our good friend Jeramiah. The owners of whiskey Jacks are hardest workers I've met and a lot of fun. Food is amazing after day on lake and always nice to have a cold beer. Great place that is a lot of fun.

Had dinner a couple of time during my stay at Manotak lodge. Food was very good as was the service. It is small but a place you would want to visit while in the area.

This is truly a great, unique, friendly roadside restaurant that serves exceptional food(in our opinion) We have had their burger platters which are exceptionally tasty and are large portions with very good freshly cut French Fries. This recent trip, they had their Barbecue Ribs as a special. These ribs were some of the best we have encountered in our worldly travels. They slow cook these ribs and they have just the right amount of smokiness flavour. Definitely, "fall off the bone" tender. Just the right amount of their sauce is on the ribs with more sauce supplied separately for those who would like it. The price is a bargain and the portion is ample. A half rack(5 meaty ribs) is truly a meal and a full rack looks huge. If you are travelling north to Perrault Falls, Ear Falls or Red Lake in Northwestern Ontario on Highway #105 you ""must"" try this place.
