Loved the mapo tofu, perfect for a big hit of flavor. With the prices and serving sizes, you can enjoy multiple dishes.

Highly recommend Tiger Ken the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. The staff speak very good English and the menu is also in English. We had the chicken curry and the dumplings in chilli sauce. Unfortunately we got stuck into the food...More

This is one of two Tiger Goyza places in Asakusa very close to each other. We hadn't realised it was a chain when we ate in one in Kyoto but obviously some sort of franchise as they use the same logo. This one seemed to...More

Dropped into Tiger Ken Asakusa on way back to hotel. Great menu in English also, big servings and extra cold beer was terrific. Efficient service and well priced. Upstairs and downstairs seating. And as with most Japanese restaurants speady service of food.

We had a wheelchair user with us so it was difficult to access the restaurant as it has 3 very steep steps before you can access it. There are no disabled toilets. Staff are very accommodating and efficient. Food was lovely, we enjoyed everything.

We visited Tiger Gyoza Hall in Asakusa for the second or third time last week on a short trip to Tokyo. We “braved” typhoon rains and winds (...and Asakusa crowds) to enjoy their banana gyozas, they are worth it. The restaurant is located just west...More

As a gyoza fan had to pop in for dinner. Fresh? How about them literally being made in front of you. I thought they were fantastic washed down with a cold Ashai beer. They are bigger than the normal standard gyoza but very yummy. 'Tis...More

The plastic food out the front looks better than the actual thing as they are Chinese dumplings and not gyoza. They were tasty and the service was fantastic however it was a bit misleading.

I do not enjoy leaving bad Trip Advisor reviews but we were led here based on the good reviews and were very disappointed. Of all of our meals in Japan, this was the least enjoyable. The food was mediocre and comparable to a cheap Chinese...More

Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old

Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
