We were jet lagged and showed up at 8am sharp. The place was already half full but everyone got their food within 15 minutes. Both the English breakfast and avocado toast were outstanding.

This was a hip cafe in the Akasusa district. Hamburger was excellent. They bake their own bread so all the pastries were delicious!

This is a perfect place for a light breakfast if you are in Asakusa -- with some odd minor drawbacks. Maybe fruit is not a traditional part of Japanese breakfasts. It wasn't even on the menu. To his credit the.young man in charge made me...More

The service and food here was fantastic. As a vegan, trying to find food that catered to that diet wasn’t always easy but Suke6 had incredible food (and the coffee was to die for, and I usually have high standards with coffee). We came here...More

We were looking for a breakfast/brunch place near Senso-ji Temple, and found this gem. Away from the main bustle and down by the river, a little cafe serving veggie and vegan options. Gluten free buddha bowl and a soya green tea latte, green tea, avocado...More

We visited on our last trip and returned tonight. We remembered the interesting setting. The staff were very attentive. We had two nice salads that catered to our vegetarian tastes. Followed by a nice creme caramel! Mmmmm.... YMMV

We had two delicious breakfasts at this diner. We were craving fresh fruit and granola after Japanese breakfasts that do not include these items. The staff are lovely. Good opening hours. Easy to find and right near the Sumida River.

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
