Felt like something European for breakfast. They have a limited menu but very good bread which is not always so easy to find in Japan. Cosy, charming service and budget friendly.

Language barrier is present but it didn't stop the staff from being super friendly and helpful! Great food and brilliant coffee! Nice pit-stop before you go into the Senso-ji temple as well!

This is a good place for breakfast. I walked from Sensoji temple, about 5 mins walk and found this nice and cosy place for breakfast. The menu is pretty standard - you choose either the egg set or the croque monsieur set. I took the...More

Great place to duck in when it gets a little crazy, or raining. Short lunch menu but great stuff. Good wine list, quiet jazz, just plain civilized. No cats, though.

Opted for local breakfast ahead of hotel buffet while in Asakusa and stumbled on this lovely little place. Limited breakfast menu was fine and much cheaper than most other places in the area. Wonderful, cheerful staff and constant chilled out piano soundtrack (if you like...More

Very good breakfast to start the day with. Not the largest selection (only 4-5 different items on the menu), but what they do is good. Service is excellent and friendly, the whole place has a really nice atmosphere.

Tasty breakfast, good coffee, good price. A sort of sandwiches and other things. I didn't try lunch yet.

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
