My clients surprised me by taking me to this restaurant . I am a crazy sumo fan and I have watch sumo fights in Tokyo . I so exited when I walked into this place . It's not cheap around 3,500 yen per person to dine in this place and you have to booked it earlier to get a spot... More

This restaurant had some delicious food, with a nice sumo atmosphere. One of things I really liked, was that each table had a bell. The table had a little modem with a button that said push on it. When you push it, you hear a doorbell and a waiter appears at your table. A easy way to get someone's attention... More

Went on A Wednesday night that they had a sumo performance by former wrestlers. There is a program on their website. We tried the chicken chanko nabe (my favorite) and a variety of other dishes. Food was enjoyable as was the performance. Very reasonable pricing. Was great to see as there are no tournaments on now and we still wanted... More

My partner and I had tickets booked for the Sumo Wrestling Tournament (tickets for the final 2 days sell in hours - be quick!) and we stumbled upon this restaurant, right next to the arena. From the outside, this restaurant didn't look like much... But once inside, the place looked rather large and the attention to detail in the design... More

Went here with a group tour and was lucky enough to see a Sumo demonstration. The food was really good and the restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere. I would go back there just for the food alone.

This restaurant's interior is shaped like a sumo dojo, appropriate for the location near Ryōgoku Kokugikan, the national sumo hall. It did not stop here. The restaurant has a long menu full of tasty Japanese dishes at a reasonable price. English speaker can ask for an English menu. There were some performances at the dojo area on the night we... Experience two Japanese traditions in one sitting. Great Chankonabe, good beer, excellent Sake, and watch Sumo wrestling. Also, a traditional Japanese dancer performed various dances.

We loved this restaurant, best place that we ate at in Tokyo! The building is spectacular- very traditional and has a sumo ring in the centre! Its located next to the entrance of ryokogu station, and next to the sumo stadium and round the corner from the Edo/ Tokyo museum. Fab service, fab food, where you can eat like a... More

We visited this restaurant after a Sumo match. We managed to find a table in an isolated room which was nice. It was better than the front hall with all the tourists but worse than the hall around the tatami which was our initial intention. Until then our experience was very nice. This changed as soon as we got the... More
